excited pumped up GIF by WWE

I seem like I'm slowing down. Not sure where my production is going however I'm getting more minutes. Seems like I've been impressing the coaching staff with my work ethic. Regardless, I'm in the genuine belief that if I keep working hard, showing up in practice, and being an example rather than searching for one is how I'll succeed. Look at other players who are MVP candidates. The Mikko Lahtinen or the Benny Graves of the league. These are both fantastic players, both players I strive to model my game after. Those who have been major pieces to their respective teams as well. That's my goal here in Vancouver. To do that, I can't be focusing on when I'm not scoring. I got to believe that it'll come with time and belief. More minutes means more opportunities and I need to fight for those minutes. Truthfully, nothing should be coming for free.

I keep harping on who I want to be. I guess, maybe I should talk about who I want to be outside of this league. I'm planning on investing some time into a few charitable organizations and focusing on opening my own charity. I want to be able to fund hockey for players who can't afford the equipment and season fees. There is so much talent in this country that I can't believe the government isn't focusing on that themselves. Well, at least the part of the government that is in charge of the sport. This could get more kids not just into hockey but learn the values of the sport and use those values to further build up their character for any other difficulties they may face later on. Hockey has taught me so much about adversity and discipline. I'm only here based on those two things I believe and I'd even argue that's the case for the majority of this league. I think this league would also benefit from some more kids to have opportunities to make it here. More grit would definitely make it interesting not just for the seasons but also for the postseason which is when it is historically nastier. I think this could not just benefit the league but also the country. Let's let kids play.

Another thing I've noticed about the league is how everyone gets along pretty well. It's interesting how all of us go out for a beer or two after the game. The number of players that are the top tier in this league that comes to me and whispers in my ear how I can impress. It's like a trade show after every single game. Last game against London, we went out for a pint and Chad was telling me how to check effectively and what he noticed I was doing wrong on the ice to position myself for a good check. It's interesting to get into their heads and soak up as much information as I possibly can. They are the best in the league for a reason, I must say.

Review: I love the charity idea, it's great to give back to the community with all the money you're getting. Onde seems like a real humble guy, and the stats will pick up, they always do. Simon has some weird preferences. I like the italics, but maybe do some quotations to show that Onde's talking

9/10
