"This Week..." from Marc

Dear VHL Community,
      Hi, my name is Marc, or I guess all of you know me as Hex Rose. This past week for my Fiancée and I has been incredibly hard for us as pet owners. This past Sunday, my beloved lost her first bird, Pika. Pika was my Fiancée's baby essentially. While Pika never liked me, she was still such a character and I loved her. Then today, while I was at work, I received a text from my Fiancée saying that my dear hamster Jiggles had past away... He was such a funny hamster and I loved him so much...
That's not to mention a lot of other hardships that have befallen us this week, from car issues, to thanksgiving disasters, etc.
Despite everything we still love each other no matter what.... 
Please, make sure to always hug and tell the people and pets you care about that you love them. You never know when you may never see them again...
I also write this to thank you all for this amazing league and community. During this past week, it has given me a small but important escape from the shitstorm... You fuckers are an amazing bunch and have genuinely brought me a smile everyday since I've joined.
As a player and now VSN writer, I truly can't thank you all enough for this league. Thank you to Spartan, Jiggs, Hatter, and many others for your help as I grow and also just genuinely being amazing people.
