A Dynamic Duo Forming?

After a surprising declaration for VHL, a long time friend and previous teammate Germano Henchoz @RicoTheTrapGodhas joined Kristof Welch on the blue-line for the Yukon Rush. Picked up soon after getting a contract offer from the Rush, many of champagne bottles could be heard from the apartment now being shared by the two rookie defensemen on the Rush.

 

When asked about what it means to see both a familiar face for a new teammate, Kristof Welch had this to say, "MY BOY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. WE SHALL BE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH IN BOTH THE VHLM AND EVENTUALLY IN THE VHL. GET READY FOR WELCHOZ!!!"

 

Unfortunately it seems we caught Welch at a...more intoxicated time, but who can fault him when you have a friend in the locker-room now? And not just a friend, but someone who can also produce right off the bat! Albeit only being in a 3 game stint thus far, Germano Henchoz has already made a statement with a 2 goal, 1st star performance against Las Vegas Aces.

 

With this duo now being formed, it is hoped that Welch can further expand his production in hopes that this drives him to the next level and that Henchoz can be the next star rookie defender for the Rush.
