Nate Telker enters final week before retirement

Recommended Posts

It's been a sweetheart career for Telker, who went from a late 3rd round pick way back in S68, to a core member of the Menace within a matter of months(irl). The Moscow center has gotten to a lot of milestones in his career. He will finish among the Moscow greats in several important categories(moscow menace players only), including 3rd in all time games played, 5th in all time points and assists, and 3rd in all time playoff points. Telker was never the best player on Moscow, but he had a consistent career that wildly overachieved compared to when he was drafted. Moscow's history may remain small, but having a guy like Telker in the memory of the fans will strengthen the roots of the past and present, and hopefully in turn create a brighter future. "I can't thank my teammates and the staff enough. I was treated like family here. lots of old friends are either gone now, or off playing elsewhere, but those memories sure are something special." Said Nate. Brendan Telker, Nate's younger brother, still has high hopes of getting into a VHLM game before the season is up.
