While the Helsinki Titans prepare to host the London United tomorrow, other plans are well underway.

The Titans will have two honored guests in the building; #76 Erik Draven @Jbeezy76 and #3 Ben Hafkey @McLovin.

Following five seasons with the Titans (S70 to S74), Erik Draven will have his name roared in the stands once again on Monday. Draven was acquired from Prague after season 69 and became a steady offensive force in the Titans top six until his retirement in season 74. Draven played 360 games for Helsinki, scoring 141 goals and adding 179 assists for 320 points. The well rounded star was a +44 and delivered 583 hits with a modest 237 penalty minutes. His 21 game winning goals has him 24th in Titans history. Consistency was key for Draven who scored at least 20 goals every season of his VHL career with his assist totals only dipping below 30 once.

Ben Hafkey also played five seasons for the Titans (S69 to S73). In his early years, Ben won the Founder's Cup with the Philadelphia Reapers and the Continental Cup with the Vancouver Wolves. Hafkey was underrated throughout his career but opened the eyes of many late in his later years. Ben played 361 games with the Titans, scoring 113 goals and 183 assists for 296 points. His career ended on a high point with 29 goals, 60 assists for 89 points in season 73. Hafkey won the Dustin Funk trophy in S70 after improving from 34 points in S69 to 73 points in S70. Ben was also involved with Titans management as their Assistant GM from S70 til his retirement.

While the Titans are having a successful season 75, both Draven and Hafkey are missed in several ways around the Titans organization. Both players are beloved by the fans, players and management and are hoping this special night gives everyone a chance to really let them feel loved by the entire community.
