Disappointment in WJC

Team Asia once again come out last in the tournament. With a strong goalie, Rara Rasputin, they still couldn't get it done. Not just a goalie, Team Asia was rather stacked this season with Taro Tsujimoto, Darius Marimoto and many other talented players picked up from other teams. With both rookie and veteran presence, the team and it's returning GM had hopes of going far in this tourney. Day 1 set up a bad start with the team going 0-3 which is where the curse starts. The next day saw significant line changed that worked for 1 day and failed the next day. 

 

I tried everything I could. Did the opposite of what I did last season but nothing came to fruition. The blame is not on the players but on me. My strategy failed once again and I'm disappointed in myself again. I can do better than this and maybe GM'ing isn't my thing at all. I owe this amazing team an apology. My backup goaltender, Artem didn't even get to play. This upsets me a lot. There's nothing I can do anymore and I wish the next batch of GMs all the best in their tenure here. Thank you to the commissioners as well as the simmer for this event. 

 

GM and players will be going back to their respective teams after this ends to continue the off season. For now, it's another disappointing tourney for the Asian team. Will the curse end?
