Hey hi. Just tallying up the votes for the end of the game thread portion of the Day Phase. We will be starting the next Act ideally tomorrow morning, not ideally tomorrow after I'm done work, I believe I have a bunch of the reported actions already, but if you haven't finalized what you wanna do this act get it to me. As for VOTES. Well we do have enough votes to send someone to jail. We had 10 votes total (including Gordons 3) with the following members having voted, Rory, Scoop, Pytrell, MMFlex, Zack, ADV, Goliathus, and Ricer. The Vote Totals were: 7 for Zack and 3 for Rory. With 7 votes that is enough to send Zack back packing his things right to jail. See you tomorrow for the next Act, and what chaos unfolds.

Late to the party here, but yes yes in fact this IS your Commissioner Gordon. Goliathus Votes to Jail AND his votes to expose Batman count for 3.

Extending the day phase of this btw given how long it was in between and to just in general give people more time to engage back in with the game. I'll lock this thread after I get home tomorrow so later in the evening ET probably. Anyway, keep figuring out who the hell is going to jail.

An update for the citizens of Gotham. A riddle has been solved! I have cities, but not houses. I have mountains, but no trees. I have coasts, but no sand. What am I? The answer? A map. Riddler loses one Riddle and is one step closer to being recruited to a faction. The Mob gained the Riddler Point for this Riddle solved which means Riddler Points Mob: 1 Gotham: 0

Woah boy. We had ourselves a night, nothing to do but get to it. We had two, yes TWO deaths to report on last night. Both players who have already bloody well died before! @omgitshimthe revealed Riddler finds himself dead. @Spartan the Blackgate Jailor from the grave has returned right back to it. Yes, yes that does indeed mean we have a jailbreak on our hands. BEFORE the jailbreak occurs though MMFlex was jailed last night. He is of course, released now along with ALL the other jailed player. (NSG, Doomsday, Zack, and Ricer). Before his death The Riddler has left another victim with another Riddle. Riddle 3: I have cities, but not houses. I have mountains, but no trees. Also just a fresh reminder on win conditions for folks. The mob wins when at the start or end of a day there is no living or no non jailed members of Bat Family and Gotham. Mob does not need to jail or kill unaligned to win. Bat Family and Gotham win when all living non Bat Family or Gotham players are jailed at the start or end of a day. Ra's Al Ghul obviously is not counted in those win conditions, given he can't die or be jailed. The game will end when one of those conditions is met though, regardless of who else needs or has win conditions to be met.

Also I didn't give a clear timeframe for this Act apologies. Act IV's Game Thread Day Phase is going to end Midnight ET with a shorter Night Phase given I'm back at work in the morning. So expect Act V to start around 6:00 am ET. Get those actions in while you can!

Afternoon citizens of Gotham. Getting the game thread open here for a new Act and another Day Voting Phase. Let's run down some of last nights mayhem. For starters we have a new living person. That is right the Lazarus Pit was activated once again, and this time on a unique role as we know that OMG was in fact The Riddler. This means the Lazarus Pit ability will be on cooldown and can't be used during Act V. It also means OMG and The Riddler are back into the game. *FYI: Any passive abilities that already triggered for characters returning from the dead still count as triggered. Things worded as "the first time" mean the first time in any game. So a dead character coming to life does not in fact bring those back* No deaths to report on tonight, a quiet night in that regard. @NSG found themselves in jail after the events of last night however. Someone was also released from jail. Yes indeed @Berocka now finds themselves free! We also had a vote to expose Batmans identity last night. While we don't get to see who voted for who our total vote tallies are as follows; 10 Total Votes (5 needed to expose) Rory - 3 Scoop - 3 ADV - 1 Pytrell - 1 Spartan - 1 Zack - 1 There is not enough votes on any one candidate, so no information is gleamed about that. Gotham also learns from the Bat Signal; Robin used a night action last night! 11 Living non jailed players means we need 6 to jail in today's thread. (It could of been less in previous days too had I recalled jailed players don't count to that total. Oopsie) Anyway, Act IV has begun!

I'm counting 9 votes on Zack that is in fact enough to jail him. Zack has been jailed, and cannot use any night actions this Act as this action happens as I enter us into the Night Phase. The 9 voters btw are Adrest, Ptyrell, Rory, Scoop, MMFlex, Spartan, Jericho, Ben and Advantage. In other news as we lock up for the night phase, make sure you get your actions in but also. The Mob has called for a vote to expose Batman. That means I'll be privately contacting every living non Bat Family member for their vote on who they think Batman's identity is. If exposed, Batman turns into Bruce Wayne. Similar to the vote in game thread debuff, disrupted players cannot vote to expose Batman and instead count as an abstain. Alright everyone night is here, see you in the morning. It may be later than I had stated due to a good friday holiday day off, so I don't need to be up so early. But I'll still try to get the thread popping first thing I'm up so we have time to get the chaos rolling.

Alright Gotham let's get another Act started here. After a series of unfortunate events led us to a delayed start time we are ready to go. There was a series of unfortunate events in Gotham too. 6 Votes was not enough to Jail as we had 15 living players last night. Both @Berocka and @Ricer13 wake up to find themselves in jail! We also have a murder most foul to report on. @omgitshim for all his playing up roles was finally killed. He was....?????????? The Lazarus Pit was activated last night and every ones favorite role the Blackgate Jailor Dos, has been brought back into the game. @Spartan is alive again. Gotham learned a piece of info from the ordeal last night via the handy Bat-Signal: Batman used a night action last night! Last but not least, everyone fav riddle master dropped another one of his hot gems last night. My niece found a book on the table. She tore out pages 13, 14, 22, 23, 37, & 38. How many pages were torn out? Alright Gotham, that is is that is all. Act III has begun and will have a slightly altered time schedule now that we are dealing with me knowing my new work hours. The day phase is going to remain open until I close it when I get back from work tomorrow (so about 8 ET) but remember that only relates to the voting in this thread. The Act itself will close and we will be starting Act IV on Thursday early morning at 5:00 AM ET. PLAY NICE!

Apologies for the late start to Act II, was dealing with job hunt stuff that came up just as noon ET was hitting here so I had to run out and make sure I was set to start a new job tomorrow. (Go me?) Anyways! We had quite the productive Act in the wee hours last night as members of Gotham were making sure to get their actions in and let the chaos unfold. Let's start with who was jailed. OMG, Doomsday and Adrest wound up in jail last night. At least for now, I say that because....we do have a kill to report on. Unfortunately @Spartan was murdered last night, the body was found mangled and crippled. Spartan was a....BLACKGATE JAILOR! Which is why I never tagged those who were sent to jail because our jailed folks have now found themselves broken out as we lost a jailor and have a jailbreak on our hands! Other game nights that the town may learn. We can confirm we have a Riddler in this game because SOMEONE was left a Riddle after suffering an attack last night. Only that person can solve the Riddle, but you are free to help them out in the thread here. Either Gotham or The Mob gets 1 Riddler Point per Riddle solved, with the rules for what faction players solve riddles towards in the rule-sheet. The first riddle that was dropped is as follows! Riddle 1 I have two eyes, but cannot see. I have no nose, and I'm scentfree. I cannot cook, but make a tart tea. Out in the garden is where I'll be. FINALLY. Let's learn what info Gotham obtained from the Bat Signal last night: Bane used a night action last night! Alright that should be it that should be all that Gotham publicly learns from what unfolded. One Jailor down means the single Jailor for now gets full control over who to jail and not to jail without needing to get a majority consensus. We have nobody in jail and one dead player. Act II has begun. This is the Day Phase. The Night Phase should commence around 12 PM/Midnight ET (with some leeway given I started this late due to unforeseen circumstances.) Good luck everyone!

Closing up the first Day Phase here. All is quiet right now as people seem a bit confused/overwhelmed. (Questions are available to be answered if you know, send them to me.) We are back for another round of chaos and madness in Gotham City. Roles are out, the villains have set in motion their plans to take over the city. Can Gotham and it's heroes thwart them off and survive? Just some changes to note for everyone. The two jailors identities are not revealed in this game thread, but are revealed in the Jail Discord thread. This means everyone with jail access knows who they are and who they are jailing every night. Further, you'll note with Scarecrows ability and a few other individual roles come with this, some of these nefarious roles can vote to jail someone separate from what they said their vote was in this thread. I'll reveal the exact total votes at the end, but not who voted differently so it'll be on Gotham to figure out who isn't actually voting with the pack. This should serve as a reminder though that Mob doesn't just win by killing any longer. If Mob takes control of Gotham and effectively jail Gotham and Bat-Family they can win that way as well. So be cautious of who you trust, you never know who is who in the Town of Gotham. Act I has begun, this is the start of Act I's Day Phase. The Day Phase will last 12 hours, so you have until Midnight ET until we start the Night Phase for this Act. Yes, everyone can use their abilities starting now and yes you are free to vote to jail someone during this Act. The game is now completely live! Alright. After much hiatus closing this and getting to another test of the amended ruleset here. Thank you everyone who joined me for this first play session! Given where things were, we only had a exposed Azrael out on the field so it was inevitable for Gotham to deduce what was going on, and jail him along with their recent jailing of Jhatty's Two Face. As such all living Gotham and Bat-Family members won to go along with Deadshot, whom assassinated his target on the first damn night.
