Williams in a 5-4, Wild loss to the gladiators
Upon reaching VHLM eligibility, the young winger from Detroit found himself claimed off waivers by the Saskatoon Wild. Due to the timing of this recent acquisition, Williams was thrown into the mix for the start of Saskatoon's playoff run. Despite the Wild being scoreless after the first game, Tyrone was quick to make an impact, boasting three assists in the second game of the series. This output is the most of any Wild player thus far in terms of assists, or points this off-season.
Noted for his accuracy and aggressive nature, many scouts were unimpressed by Tyrone's lack of goal totals, hits, and fights through the first two games. Although new to the roster, the 0-2 record for the Wild this off-season can partially be attributed to Williams lackluster performances. But having opted for the season 39 draft, Williams still has a long time to work out the kinks.
