I'm adding these onto what @DollarAndADream just did (post above), hence why they won't match my player page right now.

Was pretty amusing to find all that the one time I decide to read a retirement thread

You've probably read the thread over already, but I was never comtemplating trading you for a goalie, never mind a retiring one. We have a goalie.

I'm like a week late to this, but super exciting to see I won top TWF last season. Had some great teammates that made it possible

Player's Tribune: Farewell Saskatoon
Written by Jake Scheel
The Saskatoon Wild may have been my home for my two-season VHLM career, but not everyone took my joining the team particularly well. When I walked in the locker room, I was met with open arms and everyone was polite right off the bat. But my decision to choose Saskatoon over the Las Vegas Aces, who at that time were undefeated, was met with some confusion -- and perhaps even a little laughter. A couple people assumed I was mistaken in choosing the team I did, but the opposite was true. I wanted to join a team that wasn't already 'finished', one where I would be able to make an impact and enjoy my time in the league -- where if I won, it would really feel like I earned it.
It took one more season than I initially hoped, but in the end, I'm leaving Saskatoon having achieved just that. I was truthfully only a very small part of the team that won the championship. Thanks to some very good management, the team ended up being very well balanced. Powerful without being outright stacked. I think that the Wild's victory this season was perhaps positive for more than just our team for that reason -- although one of the stronger teams in the league won, it wasn't the consensus pick that seemed to stack the cards in its favour. Of course, there's nothing wrong with trying to build a winning team, and going to great lengths to do it -- but for the sake of league parity, the first place team not winning the championship can only be viewed as a good thing.
Of course, the honour goes to the Las Vegas Aces for that, as they were the ones that defeated the team that had effectively became the Aces 2.0. It's a little ironic, but it's true. And playing against the Aces in the finals only offered a shot at revenge after we lost to them last season.
The point of this article though isn't just to retread this season or last season -- plenty of articles about the Wild, the Aces, and the Storm have, and will cover similar topics, as the fallout of the playoffs is a story that has, and will continue to dominate the VHLM until the off-season gets into full swing. Rather, this is more or less all just a preface to my saying farewell to the Wild, and to thank them for having me on their team for however brief it was. I was happy to join them to begin with, and I was even happier when they made the move to bring me back after I was entered into the draft as a mid-season signing.
I'm glad I got a chance to play alongside a great group of guys and girls, and that we were able to make good on the promise we showed this season and sealed the deal, to end the season on the highest note possible. At this point, a lot of our careers are going to be splitting off into every which direction, but I hope to be able to play against and alongside my now former teammates with the Wild for many seasons to come. Some of you, like McAllister, Ron, and Do, are probably going to be bigger stars than me -- but maybe one day I'll manage to find my way onto one of your guys lines so you can make me look good by scoring off my passes all over again. And maybe we can win again, you know -- that's always nice too.

Eggy216 got a reaction from Corco in Team World Surprises. . .the World
While most had discounted Team World as an "also ran" team in the World Juniors this season, their performance shocked many as their efforts led to many hard-fought and hard-won games throughout the tournament. In the end, this resulted in a silver medal finish for Team World as they fell to Team Europe by a score of 5-1, their only tally coming from Daring Do (her 4th goal of the elimination round). It was an impressive finish for the team that many had predicted would go nowhere in the tournament due to a lack of depth at just about every position. Even the finals were close as Team Europe only lead the shot total by a ratio of 28 to 27 - a legitimately hard fought contest by both sides if there ever was one. In the end both teams went home happy - Team World that they managed a medal despite an extremely slow start out of the gate, and team Europe that they were bringing home the promised gold.

Daring Do Sees VHL Success
Toronto has started the season strong with a nice 4-0 out of the gate as the Legion sit atop the VHL early
The Toronto Legion have seen nothing but success as they start out season 59 with the kind of success that any team would be jealous of. With a nice 4-0 through four games played, the Legion have found the chemistry that alluded them the previous season as the team hopes their turnaround from last season will be swift. A big part of this turnaround has been the addition of rookies Dexter Lane, Aackckqz Ky, Verner Reinholdt, Bo Boeser, Daring Do, and the recently acquired AK47.
Daring Do joined the Legion after just two season with the Saskatoon Wild. Drafted the offseason prior, she was thought to be a risky pick in her draft class. Even so, while projected to go at 14th overall she jumped three spots in the draft to be taken by the Toronto Legion with the first pick of the second round - 11th overall. Since then she worked to make a name for herself in the VHLM as she played alongside Jake Scheel and Gabriel McAllister as well as defender Ay Ay Ron for the Saskatoon Wild and won the cup at the season's end. But when the year came to a close, she moved on to the next step of her career - the VHL and the Toronto Legion, and it remained to be seen what that would mean for her career.
As it turns out, it's meant good things. Through four games played she's already notched 3 goals (including a recent two goal game) and an assist on Toronto's second line. Sporting a +10 with 10 hits, her numbers have been strong for a rookie, and while her numbers obviously can't compete with the likes of Calgary's Felix Savard, they're still a good sign that her two-way style of play is going to translate well to the VHL despite having to make the jump to what is a much faster and more skilled style of gameplay than she was used to seeing down in the VHL.
So what should we expect to see from Daring Do as the season (and her career) move forward? It's hard to say. Her hits total is certainly lower than we might have expected to see based on what we saw in our second VHLM season, but at the same time she's scoring at a much faster pace than we saw in the VHLM - potentially in part due to not having to play alongside McAllister anymore. But what's for certain is that if she continues to work in practice, she could have one hell of a career in front of her.

Eggy216 reacted to Gudnason in S56 underway, S56 starting soon
While the VHLM looks to get underway tonight, VHL action has been taking place for two days now. With 20 games having already took place, there have been some interesting points to note so far. Essian Ravenwing is starting the season on fire, leading the league with 9 assists and 11 points. Now the star forward on the Riga Reign, how far can he take this team? Daring Do, along with teammates AK47 and Xander Finn, are currently leading the league with a +8 rating. She took the World Juniors by storm after a spectacular season with Saskatoon, will she be able to sustain this growth in the VHL? Vernon von Axelberry stood on his head making 55 saves on 56 shots in this year's first matchup between Seattle and Cologne. Gabriel McAllister has started the season pretty well, but was unable to sneak any shots past V2A. Which bottom-finishing team will have the better fortune this year?
