You do some moonlighting as a bartender. You brushed up on making some fancy drinks, but it seemed like everyone who came in ordered just Lemonade or Soda Pop. You take home $1168 in tips, then immediately go on a shopping spree. 1 Razor Claw and 3 Great Balls later, you have just $128 remaining in tips, bringing your total to $516 (I'm reading that as you only wanted to spend the money you earned now, if you wanted to spend ALL your money, ping me on discord and you can buy 2 more Great Balls). You then give your Sneasel a Razor Claw and a Rare Candy. You then quickly stop it from eating the Claw and tell it to eat the candy instead. It questions you but abides. Then it starts to glow. Your Sneasel has evolved into Weavile! You then head into Goldenrod and find quite the strange scene: it seems a Mimikyu is acting as a referee to a Riolu boxing match! Of course, you don't have time to wait on that! Pokemon Level Mimikyu 15 Riolu 17 Riolu 20

Some people call it "petty theft" but you call it "another day at the office" as you break into the local schools and steal the lunch money out of the backpacks of all the students. 5 schools later, you've accumulated $2288 and just one painful dog bite. With your ill-gotten gains, you head to the bike shop and spend a whopping $3k on a new bike. You later ponder why you didn't just steal the bike straight up instead. With your new bike in tow, you go on to more adventurous "work": drive-bys. At full speed you head through Route 13 and snatch a lady's purse. You pull $522 out of the purse, then hand the rest of the contents off to a nearby Pidgey, who has more honor than you and flies it back to the lady.

Action 1: Work
-
As a Worker, you know a thing or two about a hard day's work. Hours upon hours you put in effort, and your actions are rewarded to the tune of $2604. With you newfound earnings, you rush to the bike shop. Then remember that the bike costs $3000, so you rush to the ATM to get the rest of the money you need and go back. When you get back you see the shop has closed for the day. What a bummer! Dejected you start to walk away, but in the alleyway you hear something strange. As you approach, a shifty woman advances towards you. "Hey, you looking for a good time?" You nod, longingly wanting to have fun riding a new bike. The woman smiles, and motions for you to follow. As you turn the corner you immediately notice it: the Doggler 12 Speed City Hybrid Bike. The woman continues. "For a mere $3000, I can make your dreams a reality tonight!" Without hesitation you throw the money at the woman, jump on the bike, and ride off back into town. The woman seems confused, but not unhappy. With your new bike, you now have 1 more action for the day.

Throw Great Balls at the Wooloo and Magikarp, then an Ultra Ball at the Horsea. They can't break out of 100%+ catch rates!

As the bells atop the tower ring, Jessie prepares her assault of the local wildlife. Her first victim is a rogue Charmander. Koffing hits it with a Sludge, but it fights back with Ember. Eventually Koffing's disgusting bile is enough to overwhelm the poor fire lizard. Next it turns its sights towards a mysterious Gastly. Gastly's Pursuit gets it in quick, but Koffing counters with a nasty Assurance. A 2nd Pursuit nearly takes out Koffing, but it's able to hold on and Assure a 2nd victory. After seeing its friends fall in battle, the Mimikyu wastes no time and destroys Koffing with a Shadow Claw. Honedge enters the fray, and gets a decent strike in with Shadow Sneak. Mimikyu retaliates with another Shadow Claw, and Honedge barely holds on. Another Shadow Sneak does some damage, but it isn't enough and Mimikyu finishes off Honedge with a Play Rough. Finally, Weavile is like "yeah screw this" but since it's pokemon it probably just said "Weeeevil!" and destroys the Mimikyu with an Ice Beam. Koffing receives 4 levels while Weavile gets 1. A total of $352 was earned.

A fire lights up in your eyes, and you stick your Flareon on the unexpecting Ekans. A single Fire Blast is enough to knock it out in one blow! The 2nd Ekans tries to Bite Flareon, but it soon faces the same fate as the first. While this is happening, a wild Eevee comes from behind and takes a Bite out of the Poliwag you carelessly left behind. Poliwag tries to make the Eevee wet, but the biting and agility of the Eevee overwhelm it. Eventually Flareon notices what's going on and disciplines the Eevee with another Fire Blast Flareon earns a total of 6 levels over the excursion. A slightly singed total of $423 is found.

Action 3: Explore Lake of Rage

You cower behind the Sneasel as the Lapras approaches. Sneasel immediately begins to worry for it's safety. Lapras unleashes a mighty Hydro Pump, but Sneasel is able to withstand the blow. It counters with a Knock Off. This only serves to anger the Lapras, and it leaps out of the water to deliver a brutal Body Slam. Sneasel is spent. Seeing Jesse in danger, Koffing zooms to the Lapras and blows itself up in its face. Jesse is in shock, seeing her friend protect her. The Lapras is also in shock, wondering why such a puny creature would do something so foolish. It looks over to Jesse. Jesse doesn't realize the Lapras is still upset. Lapras unleashes a Hydro Pump directly at Jesse, sending her far away from the Lake of Rage! Upon landing, Jesse immediately does what any sensible person would do: shopping! With her goods in tow, she flies off to the Bell Tower. Upon arrival, three pokemon catch her eye... Pokemon Level Gible 17 Honedge 17 Sneasel 16

Poke Balls, then Great Balls on the Meowth, then the level 17 Magnemite. Machop will Mach Punch the other Magnemite.

(I'm reading this as trying to catch level 17 Magnemite, then level 16 Magnemite, then fight Meowth. If I misread that send me a Discord DM and I'll run a redo). You sense a disturbance in the force in the corner of Goldenrod City. As you approach, you encounter a pair of Magnemites exerting their magnetic forces towards each other. You don't question it and throw your last 2 Pokeballs at them. They were so focused on each other that both of them are caught immediately! Before you can claim your rewards, however, a wild Meowth races in and tries to take one of the Magnemites. You quickly deploy Scizor to stop it. Scizor charges in with Iron Head and knocks the Meowth out in a single blow! Scizor gains 1 level and you find the Meowth dropped an Amulet boosted $142

You spend your time making observations in the lab. You thought you might have had a breakthrough in Gastly mating rituals, but turns out it was just playing hide and seek. You receive $557 in grant money.

"Aha! A baby pokemon!" exclaims Professor Elm. "The perfect chance to get some unique research!" You throw the first pokeball at Riolu, but miss. It seems annoyed at you. You throw a second pokeball, but this time Riolu punches it away. It then runs off behind the train station. You don't have the endurance to give chase, so you give a heavy sigh as it escapes you... In the corner of your eye, you notice a pair of Mimikyu on the horizon. Trying to be cool, you quickly turn around and throw a Pokeball at one of the Mimikyu. You catch it by surprise, and your luck seems to be changing because it's caught on the first try! The other Mimikyu is upset that you kidnapped its friend and charges towards you. Litwick hits it with a Shadow Ball, but it counters with a rough Shadow Claw. Another Shadow Ball is enough to subdue it, and not a moment too soon! Litwick gains 1 level, and $107 was found. With the party in tow, you make your way off to the Lake. It's brimming with pokemon, but three in particular catch your eye... Pokemon Level Cutiefly 15 Cutiefly 16 Sneasel 13

You put your foot down. This Sneasel WILL belong to Team Rocket if it's the last thing you do. You pull out another Great Ball and make a weird shrieking noise. The Sneasel pauses momentarily, unsure how to react to the sound. This is just enough time for the Great Ball to connect! It shakes once. Twice. Maybe three times. I asked my Uncle Elwyn, he's a mime he said, " ". Obscure reference aside, this one seemed to do the trick! Sneasel is now yours. With the first challenge complete, you turn towards the true prize: the beautiful Lapras that has been silently judging you this entire time. With your newfound confidence, you pull out the Ultra Ball, and throw a perfect spiral towards Lapras's general direction. Lapras stares at the ball as it heads towards its face... And sails clear over its head and into the Lake, where it sinks immediately. Determined, you throw your last great ball at it. No drama here, it falls about 5 feet short of the Lapras entirely. Enraged, you take your last 3 pokeballs and just chuck them. Surely if you throw all of them at once, one is bound it hit, right? Well, right! One of the pokeballs hits Lapras in the fin. The ball shakes once, then Lapras comes bursting back out of it. It looks angry now and is slowly swimming towards your direction... While you try to think of how to handle the Lapras now, a buzzing sound distracts you. A rogue Cutiefly, you immediately tell Koffing to handle the situation. In a panic, the Cutiefly Struggle Bugs into the Koffing, causing minor damage. Koffing strikes back with a Sludge. Cutiefly isn't looking too hot but Struggle Bugs again. Koffing finishes it off with another Sludge. Now, what to do about that Lapras? (Koffing will receive 3 levels after the battle with the level 18 Lapras. It currently has 27 HP remaining. $106 from the Cutiefly has been added to your total).
