  1. Break the faulty metal detector; I don't need machines that don't work correctly. Let's go on a shopping spree! Pick up a Safari Pass, a Master Ball, and 4 Ultra Balls. Action 4: Safari Zone!
  2. "Another challenger? I thought you all had enough of this!" Misty wastes no time and sends out a Horsea. James laughs. "What a puny creature! Team Rocket won't be caught dead with that thing!" He sends out an Ivysaur. Ivysaur starts things off with Razor Leaf, which nearly knocks Horsea out in one hit. It hangs on though, takes a munch out of it's Dragon-flavored Leftovers and uses Dragon Breath back at it. Ivysaur snorts and hits it with another Razor Leaf. Horsea falls with ease, and now here comes Vaporeon! Aurora Beam does a number on Ivysaur. It flings a Razor Leaf back at Vaporeon, but its so tanky it doesn't make much of a dent. Another Aurora Beam and Ivysaur goes down! "How preposterous! How could my precious plant fall to a water creature?! No matter, Gyarados it's your turn!" Gyarados comes in hot with an Air Slash. Vaporeon stumbles, but comes back with a Hydro Pump. Gyarados laughs and hits it with another Air Slash. Vaporeon goes down! Or so we thought! It's holding A Focus Band and gets back up to unleash one last Hydro Pump! Gyarados winces a bit, but uses one last Air Slash, and this time Vaporeon stays down. Misty's expression hardens, and out comes Wartortle. Wartortle leads with a Body Slam. Gyarados unleashes an Air Slash back. Both pokemon look rough. Wartortle does another Body Slam, and Gyarados hangs on with less than 1 HP! Gyarados feels too weak to do another Air Slash and launches a Hydro Pump instead. Wartortle hangs on with less than 5 HP, and finishes off the Gyarados with a Bite. James smirks. "You've fallen right into my power grinding trap. Honedge! Take your free levels!" Misty says, "Wha-" And before she could get the word out Honedge finishes the fight with a Night Slash. James is victorious! James receives a Cascade badge! Ivysaur gains 2 levels. Gyarados gains 1 level. Honedge gains 3 levels.
  3. Heracross feels honored that it's worth multiple pokemon. Magikarp and Bellsprout feel the opposite.
  4. "It's Saffrin' time!" you say, as you begin to saff around town. You encounter a Team Rocket special! Pokemon Level Magnemite 20 Ekans 19 Koffing 20
  5. Poliwag shoots water at the Geodude while the Geodude throws rocks back. Poliwag is the victor. It then shoots water at the Onix. Onix throws rocks backs, but in a sliding form. The sliding nature of the rocks is too much for Poliwag to handle, so Kirlia cleans it up with Psybeam. Pumpkaboo then tries to throw Leaves and be Sneaky against Kirlia. It almost works, but Kirlia manages to win the war. Poliwag gains 2 levels. Kirlia gains 1 level. Gustav gains 389 levels. And by levels I mean $. This brings you to the big $999. You say something nonsensical that no one has ever said in their life as you head into Saffron City. Seems like some creatures knew you were coming... Pokemon Level Abra 19 Eevee 22 Abra 22
  6. "So you wish to challenge me? Very well, I was getting bored anyway. Have at you!" Nurse Joy, normally a protector of sorts, hardens her grip. She says nothing but sends out her Axew. Falkner starts with Pidgeotto. Axew slashes away with its Dragon Claw. Falkner, using his veteran wiles, commands Pidgeotto to hack away with Slash. The two trade blows, but in the end Axew comes out on top. Falkner remains unfazed and sends out Togekiss, who immediately unleashes a Moonblast. Axew gets obliterated. Nurse Joy cries a little by how hard Axew was destroyed. But now's not the time; Steelix needs to shine! Iron Tail assaults for days! Togekiss tanks the hit, and unleashes a vicious Aura Sphere. They trade again, and Steelix is on its last leg- err tail. It throws one last Iron Tail, and it's just enough to knock out the Togekiss. Down to his last pokemon, Falkner sends out Hawlucha. And all it takes is one Flying Press to defeat Steelix. Nurse Joy is down to her final pokemon. In comes Vikavolt! Vikavolt is ready, and unleashes a mighty Thunderbolt. Hawlucha staggers, but in an unexpected twist, Vikavolt also flinches a bit. Hawlucha was holding a Rowap Berry! Falkner smirks. "You didn't expect that trick, did you?!" Nurse Joy looks worried. Hawlucha let's out a roar, and let's out an Air Slash. Vikavolt tries to dodge, but it's hit hard and it's down! Is this the end of the fight?! No! Vikavolt gets back up. It charges up another Thunderbolt, and with one last shock, Hawlucha goes down! Nurse Joy is victorious! Nurse Joy receives the Zephyr badge! Axew gains 2 levels. Steelix gains 3 levels. Vikavolt gains 4 levels.
  7. Weepinbell feels betrayed by @Ptyrell.
  8. Eevee shoots an array of stars Swiftly at Pidgey. It counters with Gust. A 2nd Swift is enough to take it out... wait... what? Pidgey has 0.0 HP, yet it still stands?! Let's crunch the numbers... 39.1 - 19.53 - 19.53 = 0.04 .04 HP remains. This Pidgey has guts. Unfortunately guts doesn't do much to an Eevee. Next up, Magnemite takes on the Meowth. Spark does a number on Meowth, and Meowth's teeth and claws fail to do much to Magnemite's steel body. Finally, Steelix takes on the Eevee. Eevee tries to avoid the holes that Steelix Digs, but it can't handle it. Eevee, Magnemite, and Steelix all gain 2 levels. $354 was earned. But what's this? Eevee starts to glow! The moon's light as brought us an Umbreon!
  9. You laugh manically at the giant rock snake. "You're no match for me! I'll catch you in a single Great Ball!" Your confidence knows no bounds, as you turn your back and toss the ball blindly. Luckily for you, Onix is like 3000 miles wide and you manage to catch it with ease! As a trained professional of Fire Type pokemon, you know that a Ponyta is no match for your Poliwag. After all, Water Gun will easily surpress it's flames. Right? ...right? Well uh, this Ponyta's got a mean Flamethrower and your Poliwag goes up in smoke. But that's ok, you've got a Ralts. Confusion will finish it off! Won't it? ... No, it won't. You sigh. You were so sure you wouldn't need to rely on Flareon, and yet here we are, back with Flareon needed to defeat both of these Ponyta. Sheesh, maybe you should have trained yours more, you think to yourself. Flareon gains 1 level. $287 is found. You're determined to find it. You know it's here. You see a flame approaching. Could it be?! Pokemon Level Onix 21 Onix 18 Litwick 22
  10. You star in a movie as Andy Sandberg's father's stunt double. You earn $1479 for the performance. You enter the Tower, but notice it is much darker than usual. You see a faint glow coming from one of the rooms and decide to follow the source of light. Pokemon Level Charmander 21 Honedge 21 Charmander 20
  11. You hear someone shouting "RIOLU! YOU WILL BE MINE!" and decide you're going to go in the opposite direction. You stumble across a kitten's den! Pokemon Level Meowth 17 Mimikyu 22 Meowth 18 After your excursion throughout the city, you head into the Bell Tower. Surprisingly, you stumble across another kitten's den! Pokemon Level Gastly 20 Sneasel 21 Meowth 17
  12. "RIOLU! YOU WILL BE MINE!" You shout throughout the city. You get some strange looks, but you know it'll be worth it! You turn the corner and find exactly what you were not looking for! Pokemon Level Elekid 17 Mimikyu 17 Eevee 21
  13. You utilize your bird pokemon to solve a rat pokemon problem at the local gymnasium. You're given $704 for your hard work.
  14. Surfing along on your trusty Wartortle, you make your way into Cerulean Cave. You notice a couple of strange rock formations near the entrance. As you approach them, they start approaching you back! Pokemon Level Ekans 19 Larvitar 21 Larvitar 21
  15. Upon seeing the pokemon, you reach for your Pokeballs, but nothing's there? Realizing you have no Pokeballs, you instead grab your Great Balls and begin chucking them wildly. In total it takes you 5 tosses, but you manage to catch both the Squirtle and the Dratini. Ivysaur sneezes in Poliwag's general direction and it just falls over. Ivysaur gains 1 level, and the Poliwag left $89. You use your expertise as a Camp Councilor to moonlight as... a Camp Councilor. You earn $713.
  16. Day 2 concludes! Trainers with remaining actions will work with their remaining ones (and may conclude ones that are already in progress). It's Rivals Night! @Ricer13Ash Ketchum faces off against bitter rival @McWolfGary Oak in a battle to the bone! Ash leads things off with his trusty Ivysaur while Gary throws out a fiendish Victreebel! Despite all the Razor Leafs shown above, neither actually use it. Victreebel leads things off with a fierce Poison Jab. Ivysaur feels the hurt but is able to counter with a Body Slam. Victreebel weathers the hit well and gets another Poison Jab in to finish off Ivysaur. Ash then pulls out his Weavile. Weavile kicks things off with Ice Beam, which deals super effective damage to the Victreebel. Its down, but not quite out as it hangs on with less than 5 HP. Poison Jab comes out and Weavile is hurting bad, the level different showing it's stripes. Another Ice Beam puts Victreebel on ice, and Gary is forced to bring in Eevee here. Excited by the prospect of battle, Eevee unleashes a Swift upon Weavile. It doesn't do much, but it's enough to take it down! Ash is down to his last pokemon, here it comes! Oh, it's Grubbin. It tries its best, utilizing Bug Bite to its fullest, but Eevee's Swift outpaces it, and eventually the Grubbin falls. Gary Oak wins our first rival battle! Day 3 begins, but not before a slight rule change. Previously, it was mentioned that Pokemon that evolve with Friendship will evolve the 2nd night after they are caught. After discussion amongst the mod squad, it was decided that in order to be more inline with the Pokemon games, these Pokemon will require a single level up to evolve once it has reached the required friendliness level. With that said, any Friendship evolution Pokemon caught on Day 1 will now evolve on their next level up! Also @Lemorse7buys an older than usual rod from @Ptyrell
  17. Ivysaur thinks its a WWE superstar and Body Slams all three pokemon at once. "This isn't legal!" shouts a random onlooker. James scoffs. "Why do I care what you think?" The Bulbasaurs try to escape, but Ivysaur shows no mercy. Ivysaur gains 6 levels and a flatter than usual $402.
  18. The Bird Keeper's eyes light up at the sight of a Pidgey. A well placed Great Ball locks it up in one try! Now it's time for Jolteon to put on a show! Thunder easily sweeps the Honedge and Litwick (which is good because Eevee's Swift would not hurt either of them). Jolteon receives 1.5 levels. A slightly charged $263 is also found.
  19. It's time for our first Battle Tower extravaganza! The challenger Jessie struts in with her devoted Koffing. Her opponent is a cocky Hiker, who rides in on his trusty Onix. The Onix wastes no time and disposes of Jessie's preferred method of transportation. Koffing takes exception to this and starts the to exert it's Assurance upon the Onix. Onix seems unphased and Digs underground. Koffing feels safe, being able to float and all, when suddenly a 500 pound snake made of stone bursts from the ground and smacks it from below, dealing heavy damage. Koffing continues to use Assurance, despite being less assured itself. Onix barely feels it and starts to play with its food, sending a Rock Slide at the flying orb of gas. Barely hanging on, Koffing goes for the full gambit and Self Destructs! As the smoke clears, Koffing is knocked out, but Onix is still holding on. As Onix prepares it's next attack, Jessie is forced to send out her next pokemon to take the hit. In comes Magnemite! It takes a Rock Slide to the face, but counters with a Gyro Ball! And down goes the Onix! Next up is Ponyta, who unleashes a mighty Flamethrower. Magnemite melts instantly. It comes down to Jessie's last pokemon now: Weavile. Weavile starts things off with a mighty Dark Pulse. Ponyta stumbles but hangs on. It counters with a brutal Flamethrower. Weavile's hurting, but harnesses the pain and gets Revenge on the Ponyta. Ponyta can't hold on and now Hiker is also on his last pokemon. Out comes Gastly, can it finish things up? It seems like it's too busy taking selfies with Jessie. It's Pursuit does little to Weavile, and Weavile is able to demolish it with a Dark Pulse! We have a winner folks! Magnemite gains 2 levels, Weavile gains 4 levels.
  20. Team Rocket's live long goal was to capture Pikachu. But Pichu? Screw that, ain't nobody got time for that. Gyarados takes out it's rage and puts the two electric rats into cages of water. The Pidgey tries to use Quick Attack to escape, but none can elude the wrath of a Gyarados! Gyarados gains 6 levels, and a very moist $340 is found. The Pidgey being too poor means you're just short of getting a 2nd Great Ball and can only afford 1. The commotion of the previous battle seems to have drawn a crowd. An angry Pichu wishes to avenge it's friends, while a pair of Bulbasaurs are curious why they have become overly hydrated. Pokemon Level Pichu 20 Bulbasaur 20 Bulbasaur 20
  21. Start with Great Balls, then if necessary an Ultra Ball on the Eevee. For the Elekid, start with Ultra Balls, then Great Balls if necessary. Machop uses Mach Punch on the Magnemite. Should it fall, have Cutiefly finish it with Draining Kiss. If Elekid isn't caught, have Wooloo use Slam on it. Again use Cutiefly to finish with Draining Kiss if necessary.
  22. @McWolf and I will trade our Kadabras.
