Arcanine tries to Flamethrower everything. It succeeds. Arcanine gains 7 levels. Ash gains $352.

You try to throw Pokeballs at the Horsea. Try being the key word, as it's quite the prolific swimmer. You do catch it eventually, but it takes 7 balls to do so! That still leaves you with 3 for the Grubbin, and luckily it only takes you 2 to catch it! Bellsprout sprays Acid at the Ponyta, but even with the big level disadvantage Ponyta one shots with Flamethrower. Ponyta gains 4 levels and $113. It gives Nurse Joy the money because it doesn't desire material goods.

"Joey?! That buffoon?! You dare compare me to him?! The audacity! I am the great Joseph! You will soon pay for those words!" While he was monologuing you quickly ran to the store and bought and Exp Share. He didn't notice you were gone. You both send out your first pokemon! Horrors abound! Magnezone leads things off with a Flash Cannon and Jynx is in serious pain. It gets off a Blizzard to chip away at the Zone but, a 2nd Flash Cannon is too much for it. Joseph remains confident. "Joey was a fool, opting for that dumb mouse. We all now the true prize of Route 1 was you Pipi!" Pidgeotto zooms in with a Slash. Magnezone laughs and Zap Cannons it straight to the Pokecenter. Joseph is taken aback. "How DARE you treat Pipi like that! You will pay dearly for your insubordinance! Take THIS!" Machoke comes out and gets REVENGE. Over 100 damage knocks Magnezone out! "MWHAHAHA! NOW YOU FEEL MY WRATH!" Jessie doesn't even respond, she's totally over this nerd. She sends out Charmeleon. Charmander's Flamethrower does some damage, but Machoke counters with more Revenge. Luckily for Jessie, the Revenge is not as powerful as before. The two continue at it, and eventually Charmeleon comes out on top! Joseph is taken aback, and runs off without saying a word. Magnezone gains 2 levels. Charmeleon gains 6 levels. And becomes a Charizard!

Gonna take that middle set. Master Ball on Celebi. Machop uses Mach Punch on the Swinub, then on the Rhyhorn. If Machop faints, have Squirtle use Water Gun.

Buy an Incense Action 5.1: Explore Safari Zone w/Incense

Throw an Ultra Ball at Rhyhorn. Alakazam against the Dratini. Use Future Sight, then Recover, then switch in Wooloo for the Future Sight hit. Switch back to Alakazam for the Swinub, if Alakazam has less than 20 HP at this point, use Recover. Else, Future Sight -> Recover -> switch to Wooloo for the kill.

Pidgey accepts its fate and willingly goes into the Great Ball. Lucario smashes Meowth with a Meteor Mash. Ponyta disintegrates Gastly with Flamethrower. Lucario gains 1 level. Ponyta gains 2 levels. Bird Keeper's wallet gains $230 levels.

Wartortle puts in the littlest work possible and gains a level for it. Despite all the lake being all the rage, you come across a much more calming sight. Pokemon Level Heracross 20 Cutiefly 22 Cutiefly 20

You say some encouraging words while you paint a masterpiece. You sell it for $775 and buy a Dawn Stone. As you enter the Tower, you are nearly run over by a bicycle. Seems your opponent shows no mercy! Biker Tianna wishes to fight! Level 29: Battle Tower Arbok Charmeleon Haunter
-
You climb up the tower. You ring some bells. You don't find all that many bells though. You begin to wonder why they call it the bell tower when there is only two bells. You then think that most towers don't have any bells. As you ponder this, pokemon approach you! Pokemon Level Meowth 22 Pidgey 19 Gastly 21

The two pokemon are excited to start their new adventures!

"You wish to challenge the great Chaz?!" James cares not for this nonsense and throws his Ivysaur into the arena. Despite being a Bird Keeper, Chaz doesn't have any actual bird pokemon with him, so he uses his closest thing: Koffing! Ironically, this means Ivysaur's Earthquake is the key to victory! Koffing shoots off one Sludge, but goes down quickly. Chaz looks for some snacks as he sends out Steelix. It leads off with an Iron Tail, then Ivysaur unleashes an Earthquake. Steelix tries a Dragon Breath but it isn't as strong. Ivysaur pretends it only knows Earthquake. Steelix decides to Dig, and Ivysaur can't hang on. James sighs, but sends out his Honedge. Honedge rides that surf, and Steelix just barely doesn't survive. Finally Chaz sends out Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl comes out with a Water Pulse. Honedge counters with a Night Slash. This continues for several hours until finally Honedge can't withstand all the drenching. James seems perplexed, but he sends out Gyarados, who immediately Hydro Pumps Poliwhirl into the next galaxy. Ivysaur gains 2 levels. Honedge gains 2 levels. Gyarados gains 1 level. Honedge contemplates the meaning of this. And gains another sword!

Wartortle finishes the job! It gains 2 levels and $150.

Buy two Ultra Balls Action 4.4: Safari Zone!

Throw Ultra Balls at the Squirtle. Machop uses Mach Punch on the Swinub. Then it uses Knock Off on Dratini. When Machop faints, send in Alakazam. Use Future Sight, then Recover, then swap to Magikarp when the Future Sight hits. If Squirtle somehow isn't caught, let Magikarp get bodied by it so Alakazam can come back in and use Psychic (use Recover if Alakazam falls under 16 HP).

You do some modeling as a cosplayer and earn $1,390. Weavile learns Strength! You purchase 13 Great Balls, leaving you with $70. You hike up the mountain and encounter a swarm of pokemon! Pokemon Level Onix 21 Swinub 23 Riolu 24 Pokemon Level Swinub 22 Swinub 21 Geodude 24 You start by throwing Great Balls at the Onix. Despite it's massive size, you can't seem to hit the broadside of a barn. It takes 7 before it's finally caught. Not a great start. Swinub is up next, and it's caught with ease, just 1 throw. Riolu watches all this and is prepared. It dodges the 1 ball you throw at it, then runs deeper into the mountains. You don't feel inclined to chase. You go to the next Swinub, and once again, 1 throw, 1 catch. The third Swinub? This one dodges your first throw and decides it's had enough and follows Riolu into the mountains. Finally you come to the Geodude. It doesn't even put up a fight and you get it on the first try. You have 7 Great Balls remaining.

Nurse Joy approaches Hiker Dave, and the two have instant chemistry. They both throw out their pokemon at the same time! Haunter strikes first with a Shadow Ball, but Steelix eats an Oran Berry in response. It uses Dig and does a number on Haunter, but it hangs on. Another Shadow Ball brings Steelix under half health, but Dig finishes off the Haunter. Next up is Ponyta! Flamethrower hurts and Steelix melts under the pressure. Here comes Axew! Dragon Claw does solid damage to Ponyta, but it retaliates with a Stomp. Axew chomps on an Oran Berry and uses another Dragon Claw. Ponyta unleashes Flamethrower this time, and that berry HP keeps Axew alive. A final Dragon Claw finishes off Ponyta. Dave throws out his final mon, an Ivysaur. Apparently Dave's got a shiny Ivysaur! Nurse Joy's fully in love at this point. At least, until Body Slam finishes off Axew. It's all down to Vikavolt now. And Vikavolt delivers with ease, as Fly does a number on Ivysaur. It manages a meager Razor Leaf, but Fly just greatly outclasses it at this point and Ivysaur goes down! Steelix gains 3 levels! Axew gains 3 levels! Vikavolt gains 3 levels!

You throw a Great Ball at the Larvitar, but it just barely misses. Larvitar notices the ball and looks your direction. You throw a 2nd one and Larvitar dodges it with ease. It tries to run away, but with all your might you chuck your last great ball... and you manage to catch it! You teach the Larvitar a lesson for trying to run away by forcing it to fight it's once friend Elekid. Elekid tries to Thunder Punch, as it can't bare to harm it's friend. Larvitar shows no such remorse. It then greatly damages the other Larvitar before Eevee is switched in. The wild Larvitar slides some rocks at Eevee, but ultimately Eevee prevails. Larvitar gains 2 levels. Eevee gains 2 levels. $362 is found on the ground. Eevee begins to glow! And then immediately takes a nap as an Umbreon. You do questionable things and end up with $728.

Action 4.2: Work
-
"Another challenger? I'm sorry you hate your pokemon so much! They stand no chance here!" Worker smirks. He knows Falkner ain't no match for him. To start things off we have an epic duel between Charmeleon and Pidgeotto! Charmeleon runs in like it's going to use a Metal Claw, then suddenly uses Flamethrower! Pidgeotto doesn't like it, but it munches on an Oran Berry and is feeling pretty good. It counters with a Slash. The two trade another set of blows, until finally a 3rd Flamethrower turns the Pidgeotto into fried chicken, that Oran Berry extending the battle more than expected! Here comes Togekiss! It leads with Ancient Power, and it seems the extra damage that Pidgeotto did ultimately did not matter as Charmeleon goes down like a sack of bricks. The Worker's gaze hardens (probably, it's hard to really tell since he's wearing some sick shades), and Steelix comes out! Iron Tail does a number on Togekiss, but it comes back with an even stronger Aura Sphere. The go back and forth, and ultimately Steelix getting first strike gives it the edge and the win. Falkner looks concerned but acts otherwise. "Hrmph. You've got skills, but you're no match for my Hawlucha!" Falkner is correct, as one Flying Press turns Steelix into a pretzel. It all comes down to Scizor now. Scizor comes out with a vicious Air Slash. Hawlucha stumbles, but it has an Oran Berry! It counters with a Flying Press and Scizor is not feeling well. Scizor unleashes another Air Slash, but Hawlucha hangs on thanks to that berry. Hawlucha performs another Flying Press! And Scizor is down! But wait, it's wearing a Focus Sash! Scizor... Scizor... Does not get back up. It wasn't at full HP so the Sash did nothing. Falkner wins this duel. "Come back when you're a bit stronger, punk!" Charmeleon and Steelix each gain 2 levels.

The sheet says you no longer have a Charmander. Weavile comes in and hits Mimikyu with an Ice Beam. It barely survives! Mimikyu decided to mimic you and uses it's on Ice Beam. It doesn't do much. Dark Pulse finishes it off. Weavile gains 5 levels! $140 was found.
-
This gif accurately describes the first battle. Eventually the wild Magnemite comes out on top and Charmander cleans things up. Steelix laughs at Axew. Then laughs at the other Axew. Charmander gains 3 levels. Steelix gains 2 levels. $368 is found on the ground. Then, this happens:

Action 4.1: Work
-
Throw a single Ultra Ball at the Swinub. Throw Ultra Balls at the Hawlucha. Start with Alakazam against the Wooloo. Use Future Sight on it's first turn, Recover on it's second turn, then switch to Eevee on the turn that Future Sight hits. If the Hawlucha wasn't caught, let Eevee stay in and Swift it until Hawlucha snaps it in half. Bring Alakazam back in for Future Sight first turn (if it gets Detect cancelled, use it again), then Recover on next turn, then switch to Magikarp on the turn that Future Sight hits. Eevee should evolve into Leafeon on level up.
