The whole city of Oakville was up in arms today as David Clarkson announced he would be taking his talents to the vhl circuit the only problem is he isn’t signed “ i hate lying but I need this publicity” said David at the end of the day everyone was popping champagne and patting him on the the back even though he isn’t signed

David Clarkson Oakville, Canada LW 19 6’3 175 Pounds Free Agent Started playing hockey when he was 7 he was instantly a stud in his first year of hockey he 55 goals and 32 assists in 35 games only. Then the next 3 seasons he was constantly ripping the AAA circuit scoring 196 goals in his next four seasons combined his most in 1 season was 79 but the next year he completely went off and scored 236 points with 135 goals and 101 assists and that was the most he ever scored because in the next two seasons his parents couldn’t afford to keep him in hockey because they lost their jobs and all he didn’t was play for his high school team and scored 34 goals in 30 games. The next season his parents got jobs and he was able to play hockey again. Then he played midget hockey and he had 12 goals in 4 games but then he broke his ankle and was out for the season until the final game we’re he scored 4 goals and 3 assists. But he never got the chance to play again until now. PROS SKATING: he is a very good skater and he can get open very quickly because of his speed which is why he is such a lethal goal scorer and assist getter. He was also a highly doubted speed skater which made his skating that much better and he won many competitions for speed skating and even skated for Canada’s u-18 national tournament. SHOOTING: his wrist shot has pinpoint accuracy and a lot of speed on it is his main tool in his game he is a very accurate shooter and for a skills competition he competed won 1st places in hardest shot and most accurate shot.Speaking of his hard shot his slapper is one of the fastest in the world but is not accurate at all and his snap shot is not very fast but has good accuracy. Teamwork: When he scored that 236 point season all of those assists could’ve been his own goals but instead since his team fed him so much he wanted to give back to them and give them some goals instead of him scoring so much. He also is a great leader and was a captain for all his teams he ever played on. CONS Injury: he has gotten hurt seriously many times and has had 4 concussion in his career but chose to play with them instead of not playing with his team because he didn’t want to lose time on the ice he has also had many injuries he had to sit out for like a broken arm and a broken ankle. Since he is pretty skinny he gets hurt a lot when he gets hit but plays through the pain, Passing: He might have a great strength with his passes if they connect but most of the time they don’t and he has gotten the nickname wild thing for that his breakaway speed makes it easy for him to get assists because he just leaves the puck right in front of the net when he gets there. Emotions: whenever his team loses he loses his mind and starts breaking stuff and throwing stuff around the room but his teams don’t lose much so hasn’t done it many times. If he gets hit in a game he will go after whoever hit him and beat him up because he doesn’t want look like coward.
