The future's looking bright. 5. Keep slowly improving and contribute to our season however I can. 6. Meatball sub without a doubt. Can't beat it.
  2. 1. Probably Malmo, they win a lot of games. 2. Getting scouted and drafted for the first time. 3. Ironhide is probably the clearcut favorite to win it. 4. Birding and bird photography, his dad got him into it as a kid. 5. Lionel Messi, I always dreamed of being a pro soccer player. 6. I would wish for an end to world hunger.
  3. 1. All we can really do is keep winning and put the pressure on them to keep winning as well if they want to stay ahead of us. 2. It's not the most important thing in the world but it's certainly something good to aim for. 3. I'm more of just a role player in general but in my career I think I've been more productive in the regular season than the playoffs. 4. I honestly haven't explored much content of any kind. 5. Dogs are the best pets, they are perfect in every way. 6. I've always been a Josh Hutcherson fan, I remember really liking Bridge to Teribithia back in the day. I don't watch many movies in general though.
  4. 1. I think the best way to catch them would be to win more games, but I'm no genius. 2. I'm very hungry right now and can only think of food so perhaps the topic will be food. 3. I probably wouldn't do anything too aggressive but maybe that's why I'm not in charge of those decisions. 4. Probably Davos because they score so few goals. 5. Can't go wrong with a bag a chips, I typically go with Doritos. 6. I have not traveled much unfortunately, the only real trip I've taken was to Florida. It was alright. Too crowded.
  5. 1. I think we had been struggling on the PP and PK earlier on so improving that probably has a lot to do with it. 2. Stop being so angry. Whenever I look at game results I seem to have lots of roughing penalties and even had a game misconduct for "Intent to Injure" 3. Probably LA, anyone who will be competition at the top. 4. Moscow, they're looking strong. 5. Nothing beats a good hamburger but I do love Italian. 6. Tottenham Hotspur and the Green Bay Packers
  6. 1. Yeah, we make it for sure. 2. I think Maellard will probably hold onto it. 3. We're still just in the process of figuring things out coming out of a rebuild. 4. Leandro probably. I guess I'd love to see AJ as well if he were to make a GM comeback. 5. Probably the convenience and ease of it, but still getting a fun experience without having to put in excessive amounts of effort. 6. I'm not currently in any others but I used to be in SHL, a baseball one, and a short-lived sim lacrosse league.
  7. 1. I'm pretty content to just let things play out as they are. 2. Perhaps a big free agency signing. 3. Something that fights world hunger 4. Maybe selling some sort of VHL merch. 5. Yes, it's a very enjoyable time of year. 6. Christmas because I see everyone on both sides of my family.
  8. 1. I don't really pay enough attention to the players on other teams to know who is good or anything like that, but I would say bringing in the good ones would be the most ideal strategy. 2. Talk about different ways to to go about recruiting people to VHL. 3. HC Davos, London, New York, and Moscow because I like their logos the least. 4. Probably the VHLM, it's more fun to be in the very beginning stages of your player's career. 5. I would say golf, it's just never had any appeal for me. 6. Soccer for sure, I played soccer for a lot of years.
  9. 1. I would say it's to be expected coming off of a rebuild. 2. They only have one player over 571 TPE so it's pretty surprising that they're getting so much sim luck. 3. I haven't really necessarily been surprised by anyone with what I've seen so far. 4. I would say he is easily a top-2 GM on this team 5. Haven't done much traveling, but it takes about 7-8 hours to drive to my grandparents' house in Minnesota. 6. My current dating life
  10. 1. Probably the tournaments that take place 2. Waiting around for the next season to start 3. Traveling as much as he can and thinking about how he hopes to improve as a player 4. We should tame a legitimate wolf from the wild and simply name it Wrangler the Wolf 5. The Wings actually started off surprisingly hot but we'll see how long that lasts 6. Get on my knees and beg them to be better
  11. 1. It feels exciting, it's always good to bring in a major talent. 2. Whoever is the best available player remaining. 3. It's definitely fair, losing a bunch gets old fast. 4. Tuominen will probably have the biggest impact. 5. New York style cheesecake and it's not even close 6. I'm really not a big pie fan at all. Fruit has no place in dessert.
  12. 1. I'm going with the Phantoms 2. Oh yeah, I'm sure he'll snag some wins. 3. I think brining in a couple of vets at this point couldn't hurt anything. 4. I'm a huge fan of the current color scheme but maybe changing the red to blue could work as well. 5. I don't think I've been around enough to really know any ex-Wranglers. 6. I think I would probably rather skydive than bungee jump.
  13. 1. When you have a top pick I think you have to go with the best available player. 2. As long as there are Pokemon to catch I'll always be lingering. 3. He shoots right. I never played hockey so I honestly don't know much about equipment or types of sticks so I'll just say he uses some kind of CCM stick. 4. Contribute to something that promotes youth sports. 5. I've become a master at turning left and now am a NASCAR legend. 6. I have never ran any sort of race for a cause. As a Boy Scout I used to volunteer at local 5Ks to hand out water to other people as they ran by.
  14. 1. I think things have pretty much been going as expected for Calgary this season. 2. I wouldn't expect too much of a significant improvement for next year, a rebuild doesn't happen automatically. 3. I would imagine you have to target Janser. 4. Calgary doesn't necessarily need to be too active, but if opportunities are there to gain more draft picks that wouldn't be a bad thing. 5. I don't currently have pets. I live in an apartment and refuse to pay a monthly fee just to have a pet. 6. Fall is the best season and it's not even close. Hoodie/flannel weather, hunting, football, Thanksgiving, it's the elite season.
  15. 1. I'd say so, yes. We've lost a few more games than I expected but we're still on top. 2. Yeah, he's been doing pretty well! Leading the league in plus/minus and one of the top scoring defenseman as well. 3. Probably Cologne, they'll likely be our biggest competition. 4. Braeden Panarella has been piling up the points. 5. Gonna have to go with Culver's 6. I really like Malmo's logo
  16. 1. Do prospects count? I anticipate a fast start for myself in the E, I'm playing big minutes on a very solid roster. 2. Considering the rebuild and how the season is projected to go, Calgary probably won't be all that competetive so the biggest rival will probably just be whoever else is fighting at the bottom of the standings. 3. I'm going to go with Seattle. 4. I'd say my player is a good two-way defenseman, scoring a decent amount and throwing the body around as well on D. 5. I don't necessarily think it would improve the game but I'd change offsides to soccer rules instead of having to watch the blueline just to see what happens. 6. Appies and nappies ferda
  17. 1. Committing to a rebuild can be a difficult thing to do so I think he has shown an important ability that he has to make tough decisions. 2. I'm excited to see how my player performs in the E and I'm hoping to see Vasteras make a run for the championship. 3. I was excited to leave the M this off season and be able to apply all of the TPE I've been banking. I've been focusing mostly on increasing my Defense rating. 4. With the rebuild in effect, Calgary will probably hang around the bottom of the standings but I'm sure it will be fun for younger players to get ice time. 5. I had a pretty tame summer. I pretty much just worked a lot. 6. There are plenty of places in the world I'd like to go to see and photograph different kinds of birds, but in particular I'd like to go to New Zealand.
  18. 1. Haven't been around long but I know VLG was a big part of the team. It's a tough move but I'm sure it will pay off going forward. 2. Again a tough move but the return should pay off. 3. I try to ignore rumors, no need to stress over potentially nothing. 4. Fradin McGryer will have a breakout season. 5. I have flown in a float plane once and commercially only once as well. Nothing scary ever happened but it did make me nervous. 6. I won't even pretend like I know who's available in upcoming drafts, but you drafted me so you obviously know what you're doing!
  19. 1. I will blindly follow Ricer until the end of time. 2. I suppose probably the Wolves, because I like wolves. 3. I don't know the first thing about him but I'm going to go ahead and say absolutely, yes. 4. Probably Joe Block because he is me. 5. Being stranded in the ocean would probably be scarier. 6. Dogs because cats are horrid and vile.
  20. 1. The season was fun, even if the playoffs didn't go as planned. I thought my player had an alright season, but not quite what I was hoping for. It was cool to finish Top 4 in hits, but I wasn't expecting to see a decrease in points from the first season. 2. I'm not leaving the locker room so I'll still be around. 3. It can only be explained by bad luck, Simon was just not in our favor. 4. I don't necessarily think it is a requirement, but there's no denying that it helps. Typically great players win trophies. 5. I hope to play with Simon's Worst Nightmare again, he clearly lives up to the name. 6. After being away from sim leagues for so long, you and AJ were exactly the type of management I needed to get excited about it again. Thanks for two fun seasons!
  21. A second season for Joe Block and the Houston Bulls has come to an end with an early playoff exit, bringing an abrupt end to a largely modest VHLM career for the young defenseman. As a rookie in S88, Block was able to make his presence felt on both ends of the ice while not dominating on either end. Offensively, he managed to pot 13 goals and provide 38 assists for a total of 51 points in the regular season. 7 of these goals came on the power play and he scored the game-winning goal on 3 occasions. On defense, Block made 147 hits and blocked 120 shots. In his second season, Block shifted gears and brought a more physical side of his game to the table. He again remained threatening on the offensive side of things with 11 goals and 33 assists. His 44 points were a bit of a decrease from his rookie season despite an increase in shots taken from 114 to 162. It was on defense, however, where a slightly more drastic change to his game was noticed. Block's newfound physicality allowed him to begin making a name for himself as he finished the season with the fourth most hits in the league. With a total of 204 hits, he joined teammates Grunkle Stan-dingyouup and Martin Kemp in the top 10 for hits while keeping his discipline in check and only spending 84 minutes in the penalty box (only an increase of 8 PIM from S88). In the playoffs, Houston were eliminated after just 5 games in a season when they were favored by many to make a deep run for the championship. In those 5 games, Block had a +2 rating while mustering up 3 points on offense. Riding the wave of momentum from the regular season, he kept up the aggression in the playoffs with 12 hits and 17 penalty minutes. The discipline he showed throughout the season lapsed early in the playoffs as he took a major game misconduct penalty for spearing. The early exit has left him hungry for more as he moves on in his career. Despite the overall lack of success that Block managed to achieve in the VHLM, hopes are high that he will continue to develop into a standout defenseman going froward. Next, he heads to Sweden where he will spend the next chapter of his career playing for the Vasteras Iron Eagles. While Block will hope to find team success and continue chasing a first trophy in Vasteras, this chapter will be about developing and preparing for his future in the VHL. Joe was taken 18th overall in the S89 VHL Entry Draft and will move on from Vasteras to the Calgary Wranglers. Representatives from the Wranglers involved in Block's development say he hopes to grow on both sides of the ice, with the goal of becoming more threatening in the offensive attack. He has expressed a desire to score more points and believes he can do so without compromising his defensive game, hoping to grow into a solid two-way player as time goes on.
  22. happy birthday where is the cake
  23. 1. If I were a betting man I'd probably have to say 12-0-0, but that's just me. 2. 250 easy, no doubt in my mind 3. I'm looking forward to moving on to the Rush and applying my banked TPE. 4. I see no reason why he won't score a hattrick in every game to close the season out. 5. No rituals, just winning. 6. Bodybag by Hit the Lights, in honor of my player's newfound love for hitting this season.
  24. 1. Yes, I think adding another strong defender was a solid move. 2. It seems like we are set up for success, probably about as strong of a roster as you can get in the M. 3. I think it was a cool idea, but I ended up not being able to come up with an idea for it before my laziness got the best of me and I claimed that sweet sweet welfare. 4. All I can say is I hope you like doinks. 5. There needs to be a good combination of both to be fully effective. 6. Interacting with other humans. Doing basic adult things. Existing, basically.
  25. 1. I believe we do, yes. The TPE will keep climbing and we'll get over the hump soon and destroy everyone. 2. No, he's never been into fashion. Clothes are clothes. 3. Probably a new vehicle of some kind. 4. I don't typically pay attention to whether people are recreates or first-gen. Ideally there should be a good mixture of both. 5. When I first created my player I chose Philly because I had a won a championship with them back in S66. 6. Eternals. I don't like Marvel movies in general, but I especially remember disliking that one.
