  3. @DilIsPickle When does the timer start on the first pick?
  4. I expect everyone to use all 50 of their reactions for today on this thread.
  5. Summers Summers in Helsinki After the S69 draft, Summers packed his bags and headed north to join the Helsinki Titan's training camp. Erik had heard stories that he suspected were mostly myth or legend about what other Helsinki prospects had gone through at training camp, such as having their jerseys hung in the rafters, practical jokes and other general hazing. But upon arriving in the locker room, Erik quickly found a kindred spirit in Guillaume Fontenette. Despite the language barrier, the two got along pretty well. Before getting on a plane back to Houston for another season with the Bulls, Erik answered a few questions from the press. "There are a lot of veteran leaders on the team and they all have a lot to teach young players like myself. I know I'm going to spend this season leading a team of my own in the minors, but hopefully I'll be able to build some relationships with my future teammates over the coming year in preparation for playing for the Titans next season."
  6. Claiming this for week 3 of 4
  7. Killing off active players is just going to dig us further into a hole.
  8. Beavis has been suspicious for a while and everyone who says so ends up dead.
  9. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Vote Nyko @Nykonax
  10. Berocka's gonna have a hard time burying this one. Good job vigilante! Elections will be held soon to replace our lost cashier.
  11. No, sorry, I should have included the "/s" at the end of that last sentence. I think that I correctly identified Acyd as not Mafia and no one listened. I think that Nyko was going to lynch Acyd until TLO looked like an easier Target and then he and the rest of the mafia decided to just kill Acyd themselves.
  12. All I can really say was that I was thinking along the same logic as the mafia. People were saying that Acyd was mafia and could be responsible for Cole's death and I was pointing out that they were on the same side the day before. Mafia must have noticed the same thing. Or you are mafia and killed Acyd to frame me.
  13. Off-Season Celebration and Training with Erik Summers When Erik sat down with his new GM, Frostbeard, after he was drafted to the Bulls, Frostbeard asked him, "What is your goal for this season?" Summers had one response. "I want a cup." And now he has two, a Continental and a Founder's cup. Unable to properly celebrate in Houston (with alcohol), Summers made a trip home to visit his family in the off season. While there, Erik has been continuing with his training regiment in preparation for the upcoming VHL draft. Erik says that he hasn't been in serious talks with any teams ahead of the draft and he is questioning his status as a top ten pick in the draft. "Well, I'm sure I'll end up somewhere, but I certainly thought I would have heard from more GMs by now." When asked about what he thought might be fueling the lack of interest, Erik declined to offer a comment. Regardless, Summers is not back in the states, preparing for the more front and center role he will be playing on the Bulls this year.
  14. I don't have a defense beyond just that this is the exact strategy we have been using for the first two days, and it has failed so far. This is going to end poorly if we keep just killing the first person to recommend we go in a specific direction.
  15. Our best move is to think like the Mafia. What have they seen, and how would you react in that instance? So far, everyone who has been lynched has been very aggressive and vocal. So if you want to avoid being lynched, a good way to do that would be to stay quiet. So who was posting a lot at the beginning and has posted less and less since then to avoid suspicion? I feel like the answer to that lines up with my existing suspicions. For that reason, Vote Nykonax
  16. Yep
  17. This makes sense to me. I've felt like one of the two of them were mafia for a while. If Acyd wasn't, then why was Nyko targeting him so much?
  18. Erik Summers comes out of the town hall to address the good citizens of the Jungle Republic. Solemnly, he steps up to the small podium and hangs his head. "My fellow citizens, it is a sad day in our fair village. Two more of our neighbors lay murdered in their graves. One at our own hands." A tear rolls down the Mayor's cheek, before his demeanor changes to one of anger. "I want to know who has been responsible for leading these lynching parties and hear them defend themselves for their actions! Clearly, there are bad-faith actors among us that are using these lynching to do their dirty work. I want a list of those involved in these lynching so that we can do a proper investigation into those responsible!." With that, the mayor left the podium and the few people gathered to wonder who would bring these criminal to justice.
  19. The cult is gone, the cop and the vigilante are both still here. Things could be way worse. We've got this.
  20. This is basically where I'm at. Part of me says, lynch Nyko/Acyd and if you get it wrong the first time, then there is a good chance that the other one is mafia. However, if they are both just well meaning townsfolk, then you've wasted two days and accomplished nothing. That is why I'm leaning toward Beavis. Is not lynching anyone on the table today? I don't think it is the best idea, but I also don't want to kill someone based on nothing.
  21. Nyko is the only one who wants you dead at this point. I feel like it would be better for us to go for Beavis since he's the only one with motive to kill Cole as far as I can tell.
  22. Beavis is the only person Cole ever suggested killing.. hmm..
