So i know you've all been wanting to know the big secret that i have been keeping all this time.
Well VHLers... this secret will blow you all away and you won't believe it.
It has come to my attention that since i have been traded to the "Helsinki" Titans something has been off about me.
The reason this has happened is due to the fact something just doesn't feel right about the location. When on the Vancouver Wolves i had always had a weird feeling about "Helsinki". The reason i always felt odd about this is when i was travelling to europe we was always able to see the flight path of every plane we went on with the exception of "Helsinki". I had put this down to just bad luck as we had not travelled there very much but i am now sure that this cannot be the case.
Now, i think the entire league must be in on this honestly as i have been working on this for ages and i don't know how deep it all goes but when i have questions others from around the league they have all given the same response. "Yeah, it's odd that isn't it" Yes, it is very odd but why hasn't anyone stopped to think wait how can we all the same experiences. Obviously on the same team we can but what about those who are on other teams and from places near like Sweden?
When i asked people on Malmo about Finland and Helsinki they all go quiet and usher me out of theroom quickly like there is some history they do no want to discuss there.
I think it is time for us a group to find out what is up with "Hesinki".
First i went to our resident Fin Partik Laine and asked him about home. He explained Finland to me and where he grew up but i found something very interesting. When he was speaking about the area and local wildlife and shops and stuff. I had a big realisation... It sounded like Canada. Why would this person who is from Finland be explaining Canadian living to me? Did they also not know? Are they trying to throw me off the scent or is this something entirely different...
This is where i had began to do some digging into the background of the people of Finland and places within the country. I looked around everywhere and i couldn't find anything that didn't just look like Canada and honestly i was super confused about what was happening.
There was only one way to find out in my opinion what was happening and that was to use a GPS on the next journey back home to see where "Home" or "Hesinki" actually is. Now, what i discovered may shock you... "Helsinki" Is in New Finland, Canada. I didn't know how to react as how have we lived this long without ever finding out that what we call Finland is just a provence in Canada.
I was scared and confused as i had just stumbled on the potentially biggest conspiricy ever but no one was speaking about it. Now, we've established that Finland is actually New Finland. Which has now made me wonder if i try to go anywhere in the country is it just other places in Canada or would it be another place in New Finland?
So, i decided to take a trip to Pori. That way i could track to see where it would say i was. First of all they took us via bus which didn't seem like it made sense as it was quiet a distance away from "Helsinki" according to google. However, when i got off the bus it was saying we where still in New Finland. I though what is going on here. How is it that this is being allowed. What is actually being kept in the place that is suppost to be Finland next to Sweden and why won't they speak about it in Sweden! They have to know something i must find out!
I had stayed in my room for a time as i didn't really trust people around me as they either do not know and think i am weird when i try to show my chart but they all laugh and just throw me out of the area. My chart showed everyone who i had found involved. I don't know who Pepe Silvia is but they're clearly the key to all this and they're some how connected to Carol.
We had a game in Malmo coming up and after the game instead of taking the Jet home i said i'd make my way back via train. This made everyone seem worried which made me realise i knew something was not right. I knew then that i was on to something. I headed on a train from Malmo upto Stockholm and then after that i was going to go up to the top of Sweden and the reason i was going to do all this was to prove something. I was going to prove all these people wrong! I was about to get of the train but i saw some people who clearly was looking for someone. i was super worried about this which was probably due to my paranoia but i really didn't want to risk it so i found the most crowded door and tried to slip out. I then went to the closest store to get a change of clothes so i didn't stand out as much. After that i decided to drop the train idea as people would be able to find me if they just wait in the later bits of the journey as i can't imagine people would take this amount of time to get to "Finland" who don't just fly.
The next thing i decided to do was to go find a car in someway. Something i could just buy and no questions asked so i could disappear and have no trace as i now know i have to do this! The world needs to know and they need to be exposed to this conspiricy. I found someone selling an old Volvo but i really couldn't choose so i got in and just drove and drove until i found i could go anymore. I was greated by a big wall... this wasn't something i was expecting what was they keeping in there why would they have a big wall for no reason? Something is clearly going on in "Finland" but i am not fully sure which but i have to find out what is going on in there.
I look at the wall and realise it is very smooth. I am not really sure how i am meant to scale this thing as i don't have any equipment and i can not really think of a way to tunnel underneith the wall. I can't imagine if they want to keep people out as it seems that they'd just make it stop at the floor.
I spend a few hours looking around the wall and i can't find anyway to get through. It is getting really late so i return to my car just so i can somewhere to sleep for the evening. i decided to drive the car further up to see if i can find anywhere to rest. I find a small building that looks abandoned and i decided to park up the car and go inside. The area is covered in webs and dust so it was clear no one was here for ages. I had to turn on the fire to keep warm as i was getting really cold in the dead of night.
I had a look around the cabin and made sure that all the windows where closed by curtains. I found it odd that the curtains are blackout curtains as who needs that in this area as it wasn't to keep the sun out so what was the reason for these? Was it to keep the light inside so no one would know someone is here? But what would the purpose of that be why would someone want to do that as it seems like something very odd to do.
I finally fall asleep near the fire. The floor was super hard but honestly after being stuck in that broken down car all day yesterday it felt like heaven. I decided to take a look around the cabin to see if there was anything that would help me find out what was actually happening within Finland. I come across a small journal written by the previous habitent of the cabin most likely, it was a odd read they kept writing about white hippos. It really seemed like someone was writing a fiction book but they kept speaking about a place enter due to a hole they had created. They spoke about an outfit that they had to wear to stop the creatures being scared. It was a green coat and with green pants and a witch like hat. The hat had a yellow feather and there was a yellow scalf wrapped around the jacket. I look around and find the outfit in the closet and decided i might be losing it but the outfit did look more warm than the outfit i was currently wearing.
I put it on grab and the journal and head downstairs where i see a brown backpack with a bed roll on the top with a letter. i pick up the letter and it reads "It's been a long time i have been back hear and i am now long gone. I took your vehicle to try and find someone from my former life. I am Snufkin, a traveller like you. I see you have been drawn to this place too. I am getting old but i can see a fellow adventure when i see someone here and you must have taken the journey that i did so long ago. Continue your journey and find out the truth but be warned you may not want to return for a while. I have returned after seeing from our home. Please take care and look after those inside. Please go on and continue our legacy and use the journal and accept the identity as the new Snuffkin. If you want to make some fun for the creatures please learn the harmonica as they love it. Do not let them know you're not the same person as me as it is a long tradition to have someone replace the former and this has been going on for centries. Don't be worried young one and go forth on the biggest adventure in your life... However, beware of the Groke . - Former Snufkin."
This seemed very odd but i had gotten this far and as it said the car had gone. I was basically stranded here. I didn't have much i could do but hope that they're not lying to me as i had come this far and to die after all this would be a big upset. I pick up the backpack and put it on and leave the cabin to find the enterence.
I come across the area mentioned before i was there yesterday but it had been covered up by trees however, right now it had been trampled down and a entrence was revealed. I paused before deciding if this is what i wanted to do as i don't know what would happen after this. Would i ever return? But who knows and all you can do i go forward and hope. I enter the area and i'm suddenly i'm greated with a area that is completely different to the area i just came from. The area was grey and dark but this very bright and full of green which is vastly different to what i had experienced from before. I see a building in the distance it was a very distince building Its tall, round shape with lots of windows which wasn't something i had seen before but the area looked full of life but i couldn't actually see any other humans around. This place looked untouched by humans and that was something that was crazy. I decided to look in the backpack to see what was in there i find a pencil to write in the journal with, a jar of jam and a pair of binoculars. I decide to take them out and look at the home in the distance i saw a light on so it clear that there was someone is there.
I have a look around and i don't see anyone but i see a small arched bridge which means that someone has stuff was this the person who wrote the letters work? I don't know but i have to get to that home.
I walk across the bridge as i approach the home and i start to get scared about meeting the people here as they're so illusive due to the wall what was being hid here? I guess i'll find out soon. I reach the door and i decide to knock to see who is inside. I thought, i'd act as if i'm a lost person or something as then they'd help.
The door opens and i'm greated by something i really didn't expect. There was a small white hippo like creature that was mentioned in the journal. They jumped towards me and said "Snufkin where have you been you've had moominmomma and papa worried they have been looking around all moominvalley for you."
I was taken a back as this creature was clearly worried and wasn't scared of me it was as the journal said they just accepted me straight away. Maybe i'll stay here a while to find out what is going on. I guess that means i won't be returning to fake finland anytime soon.
