We are nearing the end of the season and this has been a very eventual year for me. I don't know how to feel about my season so far. I think that overall i have been having roughly another season of progress even if the progression is very small. I am not upset with that to be honest so i hope people do not think that i am complaing as really i am enjoying my time at the moment in Helskini and i can not wait for the playoffs. So the progression that i have had this season has mainly been towards my goal output which has been scoring. Last season i was only able to score 4 goals and this season i have been able to double that to 8 goals. This is getting close to my goal of 15 goals a season by my prime and i am very excited about seeing if i can hit that goal to be honest. Now, we're getting to stuff like the assists. I have currently gotten 48 or 49 assists which is 1 or 2 assists less than last season when i finished with 50. Now i am still going for a better season overall so i don't mind but i would love to have 60 points but that is likely not to happen. Words: 223

I have now got double the amount of goals this season than i did when i was at vancouver. I think that now means i am one of the best players ever. i mean we don't need to look at anything else and just take my word for it i mean why would i lie to you good people about being one of the best atheletes alive. I am on pace to do slightly better than i did last season which is great to be honest and i am excited to see what happens to me next season. However, i still need to talk to my general manager about the future of Emi. This isn't the scariest thing every just want to see what their plan is for me and what the future of Helsinki is basically and how i fit into the situation. I think i'm one of the younger defenders right now so i have a free roam on there as long as i keep updating which i plan on doing so that will be great just like to have some sort of plan in place and how the team is going. I like to do this in the PBE with my players just so they know what the plan is and how we're going to get there. Words: 220

3.) Fav holiday special or movie? Clearly Die Hard 2 is the best Christmas film of all time and i don't care what you all say. It is a christmas film it fits all the cliche's of a christmas film just with more violence. I also like JIngle All the Way as it's Cheesy as Hell and has Troy McClure! 4.) Who have you caught singing in the shower after games, what were they singing? Were they any good? Considering i'm the only girl in the locker room since moving from Vancouver i'd say that i'm alone and i hope no one has caught me in the shower 0_o you'd have to ask @Riley_Couture and @BladeMaiden if i'm any good as they've heard me sing multiple times. 8.)If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I think i could probably happily live on just Ramen Noodles like an actual Beef bowl though. 9.) Best Chirp you ever delivered to an opposing team? The Chirp of a chaffinch is very deadly and the opposing team do not know how to respond. 10.)What is something that happened to you that’s so absurd you wouldn’t have believed it if you weren’t there? I was once stopped in the city of Sheffield, UK. I thought originally it was one of those people trying to get you into a charity or a religion. I stopped and decided to give them the time of day and this is where the oddity starts. They look at me and go "Emi, do you know about the free masons?" I'm like yeah what about them? "Well you see Emi. The Free Masons are controlling us all and if you look all around you can see stuff to do with there demonic imagery." He points to some buildings and other stuff of the like. I think nothing of it as i mean it seems a bit odd and i am basically like lol wtf at this point. He then continues to speak to me for a solid 10 minutes and ends with this. "Can i pray for you Emi?" I'm not religious but if someone wants too go ahead. He said some prayer that i can't remember fully but i do remember the ending. "I hope that you reach your potential and be the downfall of the Masons like you have been destined for". I go onto catch the tram to take me to where i was needing to go then i realise something. I never told them my name and they knew it and when i went to look back like wtf they had disappeard. 11.) What is your one guilty pleasure TV show, do you make others watch it with you or do you hide in your blanket fort and watch it alone in secret shame? Nothing, i don't believe you should every be ashamed unless it is something illegal. It's enteraiment so you're meant to be entertained everyone likes different things.

This week i thought i would do a run down on what type of music i subject the Helsinki Locker room too while we are getting ready for games. These songs are in no order and obviously they are going to be different and stuff just gets a taste of what kind of music is to be expected if you find yourself in the locker room with me at some point. Emi Rune is a player that is from Japan and as a result you'll find a lot of music from the region in this playlist but it is not exclusive to Japan as some other places appear. Now, please remember that everyone has different tastes in music and if some of these are not for you then that is ok but please be respectful and not go out and be a meanie for the sake of it. It takes all different types of people to make a world. So to get us started I'll do a little explanation for each song and why you may hear it and what it means to me as a person and a player! Like i said before they are all not in any order but you are guarenteed to hear me play these. Stay Tune - Suchmos This is a band i can talk about so much but i will not do that here instead i will just talk about this song Stay Tune and what it means to me. This song basically introduced me to newer songs that remind me lot of a band that i used to like called Jamiroquai. The music here is like a combonation between city pop and Acid Jazz. This song was one of my most played songs of 2020 and that is a shock when i found it in late september but ever since i have basically listened to it daily and as a result finds a spot on something i'd probably listen too in a locker room. As stated before Emi is from Japan so i think it fits too and she'd probably love the combonation too as she's basically just an extension of me. I can imagine her singing alone like i do in real life and try to get other to join in but fail to do so. One of Emi's biggest passions is singing even if she's not classically trained or very good at it. 忘れられないの - Sakanaction This song is one that i really like due to music video mostly but i still remember the song quiet a bit. It's still relaxed but it starts to ramp up in tempo compared to some of the other songs and i think that it is a good thing to work up to being high tempo when you're going to make something for a playlist. When this actually comes on in real life i start singing and doing the dances they do from the music video! I love it so much and i really want to show it with as many people as possible so i can imagine Emi doing the same. Her being all laced up and ready but dancing waiting for being told to go out for a warm up. I know when she was in Vancouver she'd dance with Venus Thightrap and Riley Couture but since moving she's been dancing solo. FREE - POLKADOT STINGRAY Polkadot Stingray are the band that really got me into Japanese music again and i have been trying to learn more and more of there songs. Actually the song i am sharing here legit is on the new album they had and released 2 days ago which is super exciting for me as most of my music was old and they would not make new music sadly. So, this is the song that is probably the highest tempo or maybe the the next one i am not entirely sure but it's something i'd probably play near just before going out honestly. Emi, would love the song free as that is what she is now after leaving Vancouver. She's gotten a new lease on life and is ready for anything that the games may throw at her. As a actual person i am very excited when i hear the music of Polkadot stingray as they usually have upbeat songs that are really quick so i could have chosen anything by them really. I hope that our other Japanese player would also enjoy listening to music from their homeland! HAVE A NICE DAY - World Order This song is one of those like before that is really high tempo so great to get you pumped up but the thing that i like about it is that regardless of win or loss it always makes you feel happy and remember to have a nice day. The actual band is really interesting but for a sports thing i think this would be one to really get you hyped up. I personally love songs that have happy meaning and good meanings behidn them so this one really would be brilliant in my opinion and i would love to remind everyone reading to have a nice day! Regardless of where you are. This is another song i fell in love with due to the music video and i can imagine Emi trying to get everyone coordinated on the ice to dance with this. How successful that is will be another thing really. Emi would totally though be up for dancing with anyone to this so if you are on a different team and want a quick dance why not come and have a dance with me! I need to be more active anyways so nothing better than some dancing for a fun version of exercise! Rererepeat - Frederic This is a song that i find really catchy and upbeat. The song is very simple and easy to pick up lyrics even as a none native Japanese speaker. I do know enough japanese to get by for stuff like game translation. However, this song is stupidly simple and i would like to see others become really interested in this band. This band is another one from Emi's home band and i think this would be her favourite band in my opinion i think but i am not entirely sure 100% about this though. I just can imagine her being really into most of there music and stuff due to most of them being really up beat that really fits the personality that Emi has overall. Rererepeat is something Emi can do this year by winning the championship again! I mean who does not want that i guess. Overall though i think that this song is really upbeat and one of those good to get you ready and active! Fun Tonight - Macross 82-99 Macross 82-99 is a band that really is classed as vapourwave to be honest. I mentioned before that i love City Pop music and Vapourwave is basically an extention this genre. Macross 82-99 basically make upbeat more electro style vapourwave music. Now the reason i like this song mainly is that i can imagine Emi trying to remake this kind of music and style with her own instruments as i have her knowing how to play a synth in my in game story. This is an extention of my ability to play the instrument myself and i can imagine that Emi doing Air synth basically while this is playing getting really into it. What is Air Synthing you say? Imagine Air Guitar but it looks more like a keyboard. I do this in real life when i hear music that i can tell how they made it. Owl City is an example of music that i do this to a lot. I know Macross is mostly sample and stuff but they are still singable which i love as i love to sing! Dynamite - BTS Now, we're onto the first none Japanese entry of the things i'd play in the locker room. The band BTS don't really make music i like but i really like the song Dynamite. Usually they are singing in Korean but something about the tempo and english in this really makes me like it. When i first listen to this song i did not even realise it was BTS and i only found this out recently that they made this song that i liked. Now, i can imagine this being the first song that most of her teammates may have heard of and would be actually be willing to sing it with me and why would they not want to do that! I mean there is nothing greater than going to have a little sing along. i mean i know that Emi already sings on her own in the shower as she's the only female on the team so she's always on her lonesome. So trying to get people to join in when they are in the locker room is probably best for her morale. Now it is another one of those songs that is up tempo and playable to get hyped up for a game! Now for Emi the user the song is something i would really enjoy hearing at a party and i think most people there would not really think twice about who it is. I think that as a result it is a good song overall. Take a Walk - Passion Pit This would be one of those songs that i would play in the locker room after a loss as a way to try and cheer up and wind down from playing. It is very relaxing to me like not stupidly relaxing but some great warm down music. I think that Emi would personally be actually trying to sing to this and distort her voice (I do this in real life when this song is on.). I like songs that are somewhat happy and relaxing i could have put a bunch on by Passion Pit as they have so many that fit this bill and you are likely to find me listening too. The music is clearly synth pop or something like that but i think it is something that i personally find inspiring and i like to listen too when i am writing PTs and other things such as that so i would do the same when if i was really playing and due to Emi being an extention of me i can imagine her doing the same! Love Love Mode - Dmitri from Tokyo/Paris This one has to be the most relaxing and chill songs on this list. If you are listening to this song it is to relax after a match. I can imagine this song being something Emi really likes due to being a fan of Dmitiri from Paris due to his work on Moon Phase for the intro for that show. The song is basically sampled bits from that and then remixed in a chill and relaxing way. I think this really is a thing that Emi tries to be chill and relaxed in almost all situations and having a clear mind is one of the reasons she is improving with defence as time goes along. I can imagine her having a long shower with this playing in the background as she tries to wind down after a match. It is not something you can really dance too or sing too so it really fits the purpose of what she needs it for! As a user it is something that i have put on before to fall asleep too as it is super relaxing to me i think the background noises are very nice to listen too. Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai This song has like two reasons i'd listen to this in a locker room. The first is that i love Acid Jazz and i'd have to play something by Jamiroquai in the locker room to be honest. I can imagine Emi sing this and really get into it and just be doing the dance from the music video pretending to slide around the room while her teammates laugh at her and wonder what is actually going on. Due to Emi already listening to and liking Suchmos i can imagine them playing near each other in the playlist so she can have her little corner of just that style of music and just going all out. The next reason is that lets be honest the idea of a song called Virtual Insanity basically sums up what playing in Simon T Hockey Simulator is like. Conclusion: Now you have seen the short snippet of songs you would find in my playlist and hopefully you enjoyed it. All these songs i listen to oftern to be honest so i think Emi would have a similar taste in music to me which is different from her sim league sisters such as Etsuko who i can only imagine listening to Music from VA-11 HALL-A. I also imagine Manto Listened to exclusively Vocaloid music and basically made everyone sing Popipo over and over till they all got tired of her and decided it was time to remove her from the team. 1-2-0 today. 6/12/2020 Emi Rune put up 3 assists in these games. We first had a tightly fought contest against against Riga Reign. We out shot them 41 to 31 but only 1 goal getting past them which was scored by Jared Spaz who has put up their 17th goal of the season which was assisted by Valtteri Vaakanainen and newly traded Emi Rune. The goal was the final one in the game for either side and the game ended 2-1. Game number 2 was a completely different beast as the Titans went up against the Warsaw predators. The first goal of the game was scored by Warsaw which was a goal by Willie Dredge who put up their 7th of the year. Not Phased by this Helsinki Titans clapped back on the power play with a sweet goal by Patrik Laine for his 14th of the season which was assisted by Ola Vikingstad and Spencer Elsby. Soon after that goal the Helsinki Titans where back at it again with a sweet snipe from Valtteri Vaakanainen for his 22nd of the season which was assisted by Erik Summers and Jared Spaz. That concluded the end of the first period. The Helsinki Titans got off to a flying start in the 2nd period with a quick goal from Ola Vikingstad and assisted by Patrik Laine at 2:56. Jared Spaz was trying to find the net very hard this game to get his 18th of the season at 9:57 he put it in the back off the net with assists from Valtteri Vaakanainen and Emi Rune. The Warsaw Predators didn't want to give up the game so Jeffrenomitsu The 3rd put up their 14th goal of the season to close out the 2nd period 4-2 for Helsinki! The Warsaw Predators opened up scoring the 3rd with a goal from Aloe Dear at 16:16 in the 3rd . The final goal in the game went to the Helsinki Titans which was scored by Jared Spaz who put up their 19th goal of the season and it was assisted by the Japanese duo of Emi Rune & Hiroshi Okada. The game finished with 40 shots for Warsaw and 39 for Helsinki. Your 3 Stars of the game are 1 - Jared Spaz (HSK) 2 - Hiroshi Okada (HSK) 3 - Emi Rune (HSK) The 3rd and final game was Helsinki Titans Vs the Calgary Wranglers which ended 3-1 and the only goal for Helsinki coming from Spencer Elsby at 6:39 in he 1st period and assisted by Ola Vikingstad and Bob Helminen. This was the start of the losing streak that we have gone into with the Titans and that is very upsetting but I know that we can come out of it on the otherside in the end. Losing 6 in a row is always going to seem disappointing but i hope that everyone in Helsinki know that as long as we keep giving it our all we will be one a force to be reconned with going forwards. I think this was a good display for Emi's first few games and since she's gone on to score three more goals! Words: 530

This week has been very different for me. I have had basically had a compeletely different experience since i last wrote on here. I have now swapped teams and i am in Helsinki with a lot of new users and i am really enjoying it to be honest! Emi isn't doing as well as she did originally but honestly i don't mind as i have basically done better in her defensive game with only being 9 Shot blocks away from her season best last season. This season will be her best in the VHL which isn't bad honestly as she is very young and hopefully she will just keep being better as she gets more and more older in the league. I am in my second year of my first rookie contract and i hope that i have now found my forever home going forward and looking forward to find out if that is true next season and the reason for this is that i do not usually like to move around. Now, i think the future for me in the league is different and i'm not sure what i am going to do. I might try to get back into management but i am not 100% just yet and i guess only time can tell about that. Words: 218

2.) If you are lucky in life for every goodby you get a hello and Helsinki really did luck out this time with being able to welcome the epic D from the city by the sea, Emi Ruin. Give Emi some of that world famous Helsinki hospitality! (Notre: Q for Emi : Emi what is the best welcome you got upon arrival?) I am not really sure who gave the best welcome as everyone was so welcoming and made it so easy to transition across to the new team. I am very happy how it went and i feel very welcome. I did like that Laine and Jubs decided to make some signatures for me and i found that very kind of them. 4.) Are you surprised to see where we are in the standings? Do you see us pushing all the way again for a 3rd consecutive season! Clearly we're going to win it all! i mean there is no other way about it! 5.) Because we are HYPED to welcome a new team member I will put in a question I know that she will love answering. Are you a gamer? What type of games do you love and what game release are you most excited about in the near future (I can hear her screaming CYBER PUNK as i write this lol) CYBERPUNK! It's only 2 days 15 hours 11 minutes and 7 seconds as i write this till it's out! Becide Cyberpunk 2077 some of the games i'm looking forward too got delayed recently and as a result not for a while as no release date. N1RV-ANNA, The Good Life are some i can say i'm excited about. A game that has been secretly released is Persona 5 Scramble... It's not been officially been announced yet but i know it'll be releasing Febuary 23rd 2021 (You'll see if i'm right tomorrow) What do i win if i'm correct 6.) What made you choose your position and what do you think makes you good at it? I played as a defender in real life and the reason i think Emi is doing well is i'm just building how she was in real life honestly! great at passing and has a slight scoring touch. I hope to be able to be a Captain someday like i was in real life! 9.)Would you rather have the most points ever recorded in VHL history and be hated by your team, or have record low points but me adored by your team? (Would you walk out and straight up say you refuse to live in my world of extremes? lol) I personally think that team unity is way more important than winning. I also think that that having unity eventually leads to wins overall. so if i have to be the bad player for my team mates to do well and enjoy it i don't mind. 10.)Which do you prefer: a good book or a good movie or a good TV series? Recommend a good one to your team from whatever category you choose. See i think you're missing out game here too as i'm guessing you mean due to a story and i think sometimes a game can tell a good story. There's also Webseries and other things. So as a bonus i'm going to give you a bunch to answer all of them. Good Book: Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep by Philip K. Dick. His work has really inspired and made think a lot of what makes a human human and stuff like that. I think his other works are great too but i think this is the best representation of what a dystopian future looks like. Also you can't go wrong with the film adaptation Blade Runner however, they're are different. Good Movie: best people by Park Chan-wook. This is a Korean Revenge film basically that's mostly action. However, the way that the action shots are all super clean and shot in 1 fluid take and as a result it looks very good and i can recommend this if you're over 18! Good TV Series: Might Boosh by Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, The Peter Serafinowicz Show by Peter Serafinowicz, or That Mitchell And Webb Look by David Mitchell and Robert Webb. These are all comedy shows that are basically surreal in someways to be honest and as a result i would say that if you like british comedy to give them a shot. Mighty Boosh might be the most well known from all these due to Old Gregg, However, that isn't even the oddest moment in the series and it's something i suggest you go watch. so before i answer good game i will say that i'm not going to choose something weeby like Persona 3 for example as people expect that from me so.. CYBER... nah i'm kidding. Good Game: Bioshock by 2K - This game was probably my first introduction to telling stories that didn't have to be done within the games main story. They tell it within little audio logs that can be found throughout the world. In the sequel Bioshock 2 i wasn't as interested but they had a ARG (Alternative Reality Game) attached to it that was basically a puzzle that you could solve to be told a very certain story and as a result i found out a new way of marketing that i love and i think that it influenced certain things i have done in media since. Good Web Series: Both of these have now ended but Don't Hug Me I'm Scared and Daisy Brown are some very good web series that can be found on youtube. For Daisy Brown there is an accompaning twitter account and the way it tells its story can be similar in some respects to a ARG as you have to find certain things. It is very different and our there they both are and as a result i love them. I love the weird thought. 12.) Do you have a nickname? If you do, how did you get it? Do you like it? I've never had a nickname really. My name is Emi and that is pretty short already so you couldn't really shorten it maybe to Em but nah i don't like that xD.

I have formally handed in a trade request to be moved out of Vancouver. I know this probably doesn't come as a shock to some of you but after being let go as assistant general manager I decided that I need a change of scenery due to events that led up to this. I have decided to put it here that I will basically be deciding Emi Rune's future in the league by the 14th of December. Now, because I have a no trade clause in my contract it would mean I have to waive it and I'm willing to work with the team and speak to potential suitors if allowed. It's just simple for me right now that the fit isn't there for me as a user in Vancouver. Now, one thing I want to bring up as I see this come up in the past. Me and Riley are different people so don't take this to mean they want out as well and it's actually the opposite as they enjoy playing on a team with BladeMaiden. It's a shame it got to this point but realistically I could see myself going inactive if the current status quo is kept. Words: 201
