S77 Fantasy Zone Week 2: The rules are the same as always, 2 uncapped TPE for guessing the 4 winners and 3 uncapped TPE for guessing the score and the winner of the last game. The form closes when the first game has been simmed, which I expect to be at the end of this week. If you submit the form more than once, your last submission will be the one considered. *The games for last week are not simmed yet, I made a beginner mistake (my bad) and selected games that were just a bit too far but expect them to be simmed tomorrow or Tuesday. The Prague Phantoms are the first team in the standings at the moment, how do you describe this? We are a team that rely a lot on our depth, if one player is struggling one game, there is many more players that can perform. Just a quick example, our third lines players are almost a point per game. We also have one of the hottest goalie in the league, Gyrfalcon can take a lot of credits for these wins, he has been awesome so far! We heard rumors that the chemistry in Prague is not only good on the ice but also in the locker room. Is that true? For sure! That team feels like a big family, everyone helps each other’s, and people throw jokes here and there. I Couldn’t imagine a better chemistry than the one we have in Prague right now. And I think its contagious, people come here and instantly feel as a part of the family.

I think there is issues with public votes as well, first one being the barely active members who don’t even know what they vote about. second one being the followers, there would always have members who vote like their friends did. third one being the trolls, do we really need meme votes? forth one being that it would be unbalanced between players, GMs and staff. Yes its good to have voices who are not staff or GM but public vote is a clear majority for players. fifth one being popularity votes. Some people would win awards that they don’t necessarily deserve just because they are the cool guys.

I think that one of the things that has proved to work for forum activity is forum games like town of salem. While this is completely non-vhl related, this gets people coming here and posting. Maybe that what people need is a little off-topic motivation? A little break as a friendly community for the only reason of having a good time.

I 100% agree with this. It personally take me more time than any native english speaker to write a media spot and I do it anyway. But being forced to write 500 words per week always on the same topic is too much for me. Enough for me to stop applying for GM spots.

From what I heard, this league used to struggle finding member who wants to be GM. Now that the table has flipped and the position is high in demand, the staff can choose and make sure all the teams are in good hands. Do you really want to change that for some lack of patience from "overqualified" members?
