Name: JP Age: 18 Birthday: May 4th Hometown: Mississauga, Ontario Shoots: LefT Preferred Number: 7 Height: 6'3ft Weight: 200lb Position: Left Defense / Right Defens JP is a young defender fresh out of Highschool, hailing from Mississauga Ontario. When drafting JP a General manager has a lot to consider, so hopefully this report can help influence your decisions on this playe JP is a large body that isn't afraid to throw a hit or block a shot. Surprisingly as a defender he thrives on the powerplay and plays with much more confidence when the opposing team is down a man. This fact can be seen clearly as after the 62 games played mark in the VHML JP had 5 goals, 4 of which were scored on the Powerpla Another strength in JP's game is that he doesn't go out on the ice and pretend to be a player he's not. He knows his role and his weaknesses which is why he rarely takes a shot and prefers to hand the puck off to his forwards when on the rush On Defense JP prefers to force opposing players off the puck rather then stealing the puck with a poke check or slick interception, which is where his large frame comes into play Now for a brief summary of JP's weaknesses. First off JP is a bit slower then most when it comes to adapting to different aspects of the game and has been pretty vocal about enjoying his free time. He usually practices whenever the team does but doesn't go out of his way to train in his time of His other weaknesses could be that he doesn't often take shots so you'll likely not see a massive slapshot from the blue line and if you do the shot will likely miss the net. He also has a poor plus minus this season ever since his trade to Philadelphia. The speculation behind his lack of defense mainly is focused around the fact that JP's best friend Mason Jones also plays for the same team as him JP also struggles with discipline sometimes. As we've mentioned previously, He likes to throw the body, but every hit he throws is clean and has an early reputation as a goon around the league. He has even stated that discipline is an aspect he hopes to improve in the future as he loves playing on the powerplay, which is difficult to do while sitting in the bo Pro Loyalty Passing Abilit Powerplay Defende Heavy Hitte Con Disciplin Weak Shot Weekly Growt Adaptability

The Reunion. JP and his childhood friend, Mason Jones have been officially reunited in the city of Philadelphia. The two grew up with one another in the city of Mississauga Ontario, but have never played on the same team, this will be their first opportunity to work with one another on an official hockey team. Both are excited for their futures with the Philadelphia Reapers and wish to reward their manager's decisions with a Founder's cup. The rumor is that the managers of Philadelphia were trying to unite the two since the VHML entry draft. During the draft only two picks separated Jones and JP, with Jones going 45th overall and JP going 47th. The two were used to taking diverging paths as JP was always focusing on the defensive aspects of the game, being drafted to Saskatoon whereas Jones focused more towards the offensive side of the game. JP's first night in Philadelphia was a long one. After his games today he got the call that he had been traded. A part of him was sad to leave behind his Saskatoon Jersey, and he was nervous leaving Canada. He boarded a plane to Philadelphia with his belongings. After his long flight he arrived in the city of Philadelphia, being welcomed by Mason himself offering JP a room in his apartment so the two could be roommates for a while. The two watched an episode of a show and ate some chips to celebrate their first night as teammates. The two had kept in contact with one another during JP's short stint with Saskatoon and went through very similar situations early on with their respective teams, both fighting hard for a playoff spot. JP was slightly envious of Mason's early success, being named Captain of The Steel during the showcase as well as Co-Captain and eventual captain of the Philadelphia Reapers. JP figured that he would compete with Jones in the next few years to acquire the Captaincy, but after seeing the respect for Jones in the locker room and the cheerful attitude Mason had when JP came to town, he knew that Jones is a man he could follow and a man who could lead The Reaper's to the Founder's cup. It was going to be a grind for sure as there was still many teams that separated The Reaper's from the top, but JP was confident that with his help it wouldn't be long until they were one of the top teams in the league. JP knew It was going to be a hard day tomorrow, learning the strategies of his new team and seeing where he fits into the line-up, but he was determined to help the Reaper's achieve greatness. The following morning he was given his New Jersey. A Reaper's jersey with the number seven on the back, he was excited to gear up and get to work, knowing he had a lot to prove having been traded for a second round pick there were a lot of expectations on him and he was happy to have the chance to silence the criticism.

JP, also known as John-Pierre is an eighteen year old born in Mississauga. Growing up in Mississauga his favorite team is Toronto. He grew up with hockey, learning how to skate at the age of Four. He always liked the defensive positions, not caring to be the most flashy player on the ice but cared more about winning and helping his team win. His biggest influence is his father Adam, who is currently a coach for a college team. JP and his best childhood friend, Mason Jones, often went to the local rink together after school. Mason was four years his elder and offered a lot of good advice to JP to help him early on. Advice that JP still remembers to this day and makes him strive for greatness. JP is the oldest sibling of his parent's four children. He made sure to be a reliable person that his siblings could look up to. Leadership came naturally for him, as he helped teach his siblings how to skate alongside their father, always encouraging them and pointing out their weaknesses, teaching them how to improve on those weaknesses. In Highschool after an incident involving one of JP's teammates he began taking Mixed Martial Arts classes at the age of sixteen. Learning how to protect his teammates if necessary. He now plays more of a Grinder role, having mastered the role throughout his highschool playing career, learning how to lay the body and stick up for his smaller teammates. He's not afraid to black shots or drop the gloves and will rarely back down from a challenge. His highschool hockey team was one of the most highly praised junior teams in Ontario, having a ton of high-end prospects during JP's playing career. He figured that college wasn't for him and heard that his friend Mason was signing up for a league known as the Victory Hockey League. He decided to follow suit, hoping to play alongside his childhood friend. The two were signed to separate teams, Mason being part of the Steel organization whereas JP went to the Warriors. The two remain friends, but both know the goal is to be drafted and won't go easy on eachother. John-Pierre wouldn't have it any other way, hoping to beat his former mentor and prove that he's the better hockey player. Upon receiving the invitation to play for the Warriors JP put a lot of time and effort into training hoping to make a good impression in the league. JP hopes to play for Toronto Legion in the VHL one day.
