Hey everyone! As the Recruitment Leader it is my job and the recruitment teams job to make sure we can acquire new members for the site, however looking at recruitment there are two major components. 

 

1. Getting new members to register. (Recruitment)

2. Keeping them here so they feel like their initial start up and VHL ignorance will pay off at some point. (Retainment)

 

So with current Recruitment Drives and incentives out there for people to low up on TPE and in turn loading up our site with valuable members, it's time we take a look at steps to achieve the 2nd Component.

 

As of today, Any S61 Draftee (anyone in the upcoming VHL Draft) or newer player who is a First Generation player may claim 10 TPE upon reaching the 100 TPE plateau. The purpose of this TPE is to reward you for getting to a stage where TPE earning is mostly understood on a weekly basis. This is also available to returning members starting without carryover, who have not had a player in the league for at least 3 seasons.

 

As we know many new members create a player and fizzle out after a couple weeks for various reasons. Those reasons could be that they are frustrated with how to actually be successful, feel like their player doesn't make a dent in the sim engine or they strictly do not understand how to use resources around the site to earn TPE. This also works hand-in-hand with VHLM GM's who can instruct their players even more in hopes they can take advantage of the free 10 TPE at the 100 TPE plateau.

 

*The TPE can only be claimed after they get to 100 TPE, not to be claimed to make it to 100 TPE.

     ex. (90 TPE doesnt make this claim valid)

4) Name one member in the VHL community that is important to you and give a brief explanation as to why they mean so much to you.

 

5)  The Winter Olympics are just around the corner. Do you watch/follow the Olympics?  Or do you like the Summer Olympics better? What are some of your favourite events?

 

6) Brock Lesnar won the god damn Royal Rumble on Saturday and it was super lame. Do you or have you ever watched wrestling at any time in your life and if so name some of your favourite wrasslers.

1. I am not yet in the lineup, but i think those are great signings, every help matters!

 

2. Mmmh not sure here, i think it is up to him now to make some links with people in the organisation.

 

3. I don't think i participated in that event.

 

4. As of for now i don't really know really anybody in the vhl but my team mate vasile lamb and i were on the same vhlm team last year.

 

5. I prefer the winter olympics and will probably watch all the events, especially the hockey one! Go Canada go!

6. All depending on the team's situation, if we're a contending team i'd sacrifice picks for key players to try and buff up the team even more on the moment, while if we're in the last, i'd try to get as many picks as i can to build on the long term.

1. I think it's great. We have a great start over the last couple of games, and team morale and chemestry is pretty high.

3. I'd define success as winning it all as a team. I don't think that stats are the most important thing, but winning the championship as a team is the ultimate achievement.

 

4. Yes, i think i had a great start to the season and plan on continuing that way.

1. I think that if everybody sticks to their gameplan and play with heart, we'd have a good chance at making a deep run this year.
