  1. Awesome work on this graphic; the render pops out nicely and is shadowed on the background. I like the transition from the monochrome British flag to the more traditional blue, red and white. The choice of font using the same London color scheme is amazing and stands out a lot. If there is anything to pick at, it would be the green left on the render's jersey which doesn't fit with London colors but that could very well be intentional design. It's pretty clear that a lot of experience went into this as well. 9/10
  2. 1. We need to get more offense I think, and hope that for the playoffs we can show up. 2. I have to say the Frenchman has come up huge. 3. Helsinki I thought would be higher in the standings by now. 4. Maybe it will be based on Hall of Fame this time. 5. Yes, I want to see what Riga will do. 6. It's not too exciting for the Habs, mainly waiting this out to see what depth players we might sign.
  3. This graphic looks really good! I like the decision to make the Bulls logo semi-transparent as well as overlapping "Houston" and "Bulls". The theme of the background images matches well with the color scheme and the render certainly pops out clearly with the white. The logo swap on the jersey is clean as well. I would just say the player looks a bit low res in comparison with the city behind them, but other than that, awesome job! 9/10
  4. Awesome work on this graphic! I love the style of Slater versus the more high resolution geometry in the background (the different shapes make it really engaging). The signature being layered in between the dark VHL logo and the render really adds a feeling of depth. The color scheme is great once again as well. The only things I would suggest would be making the signature pop out slightly more, and muting/darkening the colors on the Phoenix helmet logo to fit with the jersey even closer. Always fun to see what you make, 10/10!
  5. 1. How do you feel about Riga's start so far in the wildcard zone? 2. Do you have all your rust shaken off from the offseason at this point? 3. Newly signed Brian Kowalski is off to a hot start as the team's leading scorer. How has he fit in so well with the DR? 4. Do you think you need a 4th defensemen to make this team a contender? 5. Name an NHL player that will surprisingly get traded this week (and why). 6. Where do you think Matvei Mitchkov is going in this draft? I think he's going to be elite 1. I am happy that we have been considerably more fortunate than the beginning of last season- we should be poised for a nice run this year. 2. I am starting to shake it off now, but there is absolutely more production to be had from St-Louis on a Riga team that has been scoring a good amount of goals. 3. He is always in on the play, making everyone around him better which is why he has had the insane and deserved production he's had. 4. I do think we should go for a 4th dman because come playoff time we may be outmatched by depth. 5. I think Carter Hart could just be traded out of the blue one of these days so I'm keeping an eye out for that. 6. He deserves to go 2nd. I think he will go 4th to San Jose. I hope and pray he falls to the Habs at 5 and that they actually take him.
  6. This summer had been one of the best that Sadie St-Louis could remember. Despite losing to London in the Conference Semifinals, spirits weren't down for long as she traveled to both the Caribbean and to Iceland early in the offseason with her then-fiancé (and now wife), Addie. The two were married in Riga two weeks before training camp, and a lot of teammates and friends were able to make it for their big day. Lachlan Summers (her former teammate, longtime friend, and a Marlins legend) made it into the wedding as St-Louis' best man, which felt good for them after not having seen much of each other during the season, save for during games when Sadie was totally scoring on him and not getting shut out by the Stolzschweiger winner. She and Addie took a week-long honeymoon to Greece prior to training camp, one of the best experiences of their lives. After returning, more motivated than ever, her training camp with Riga began and she began working at what had set her back in previous seasons. Determined to produce more on the scoresheet, she especially tried to improve her wrist shot power and her passing. Up to this point, she has earned 18 points (6 goals and 12 assists), short of what she would like to be producing but showing flashes that inspire confidence that she can. As the season moves forward and Riga pushes for the playoffs once again, she hopes for a difficult accomplishment with point a game production.

  11. Interviewer: Well, the London United have taken the Continental Cup; how do you feel about their success? Sadie St-Louis: I'm honestly really happy for Jesse Teno, they have really showcased what a clutch performer really looks like, and unfortunately we happened to stand in the way of the United. It's a little bit sad to think that our final two games were each decided by one goal, and how differently things could have gone but objectively I don't mind London winning at all, they are really a team that deserves it along with their excellent GM. Interviewer: Lachlan Summers, your friend and former teammate on the S84 San Diego Marlins has been nominated for and has a real chance at winning the Brett Slobodzian trophy for most outstanding player. Tell us who you think deserves it and why. SSL: I think Lachlan deserves it- he had the highest save percentage and was among the very top in all the categories that matter for goalies. While Lavelle had a truly amazing season, they played with another 100-point forward on their line who significantly outscored them in the goals department. I think Lachlan had the performance that was more outstanding (and one the likes of which had not been seen since the alleged banana attack of 2014), because his was pretty exceptional for a rookie.

This is an awesome graphic- I love the red on the left side that becomes part of the V. Everything manages to pop out really nicely despite being all in the red, yellow, and orange color scheme. The pillar of fire in the middle adds to it and really effectively takes away negative space as well as providing a reason for the sparks around it. Render looks great, and the only thing I would really do is use a different font which is completely subjective, so I give it a 10/10.
  13. 1. I have been training hard for the beginning of the next, of course. 2. I was definitely very surprised, but happy for them as they truly deserved it given the path they had, and was rooting for them in the finals. 3. Advantage, then twists, then nurx. 4. I do think that we need to sign somebody in order to win it all- I don't think that necessarily needs to happen until the trade deadline though, and I hope of course that we won't be unfortunate as last year at the beginning of the season. 5. I think Vegas, as unhappy as I am about it. 6. Denver I think, it'll be just like the Lakers Heat finals
  14. this is amazing jason, thank you so much!

This is a really great graphic, the Dragons logo being used with the purple/pink jersey scheme looks amazing, good job with the colors there! The matching and the golden additions on the jersey really accent it well. It looks like it really fits and is just the base picture, which I struggle to get sometimes. The blur and texture on the image adds a great effect and all of the space is used well. Plus, you can't go wrong with the purple color scheme 10/10 there is nothing i dislike about this
  18. This looks great! I like the logo swap on the far left a lot and good job adding in the red to those jerseys! I like this take on Rome’s jersey, because I don’t normally imagine them wearing black. I think the most impressive thing was making sure you were able to get all of the jerseys and socks and didn’t leave areas out which I’m sure I would do. It's a clean looking graphic, although a bit low resolution; keep it up! 8/10!
  19. 1. I think they'll be searching carefully through the VHLM for some hidden gems that maybe are active but may fall because of a late start. 2. I think it was disappointing production-wise, and I am hoping to improve pretty well upon that next year. I was hoping to improve on my point total but I unfortunately wasn't able to. 3. I think we need to be simply be more consistent; we'll have large stretches of games where we play awesome, and then a run where we can't score at all. We need to figure out how to stop starting late. 4. I think Jeff Lewis is a really exciting first gen and I can't wait to see what they do in the league. 5. I am surprised by the run London has been on, they have really impressed me so far. Davos as well has had an amazing path, erasing a 3-1 deficit against Moscow. That series is definitely the more exciting one to me. 6. When not training in the offseason, I enjoy traveling around Latvia and Europe as a whole- being outside and hiking or swimming is probably my favorite thing.
