  1. It has come to my attention that I have been traded like I am some piece of property. It's kind of sickening really. I don't understand how a team would trade me! The great Gul Dukat! It's blasphemous really. I have been tearing up the VHLE just to be shipped away. Well, that is what I felt at first. Then when I found out I had been traded to the top team of the league, Cologne. I felt this overwhelming sense of pride. Of course, the top defensemen should be playing for the top team in the VHLE. It shouldn't be any other way! Rome, while it was a very positive experience, will not be free of my takeover of the VHLE. I have already made them pay and will continue to do so. No team will be safe as I will continue to elevate Cologne to even higher heights. It has been a wonderful season for me and now everyone is seeing the true power that I possess. It will only be a matter of time before everyone cheers my name and wants to erect a statue of the great Gul Dukat. The only fear I have is if the league decides to suppress my greatness. I will not let that happen! --End Personal Log--
  2. Oh wow! Thank you to Rome for letting me be apart of your team! I look forward to helping out Cologne and enjoy some playoff hockey!
  3. Well, that's absolutely brilliant! I love it!
  4. 34 games have been played in the VHLE in the battle between Lucy Leitner, Benjamin Abenduct, and Gul Dukat as the top defender, and is in full swing. Currently, Leitner's team leads the way as they are in 2nd place, Abenduct's team is in 3rd and Dukat is in 7th. When you look at individual statistics Dukat is on top so far early in the season. He leads all defensemen with 47 pts, Leitner has 31 pts and Abenduct has 30 pts. Leitner has 2 GWG, Dukat 1 GWG, and Abenduct has 0. Abenduct has been the most helpful for his team as he is a +7, Leitner is a +1 and Dukat is far behind at a -6. Dukat leads the league in Power Play Goals with 9, Leitner has 5 PPG, and Abenduct rounds it out with 4 PPG. On the defensive side of things, Dukat leads the three with 100 SB to Abenducts 90 and Leitner's 55. Leitner has been the most physical with 64 hits, Abenduct has 60 hits and Dukat has been the softest with only 40 hits. It has been a close hard fought battle early in the season. There is a long way to go for the end of the season but anything can happen. It will be interesting to see who ends the season as the Top Defensemen in the VHLE!
  5. 1. Who is last weeks MVP? I am going to have to say Nathan Ecker, they have been the battery to our offense. We don't go without Nathan. 2. If you could make one trade to make the team better (can be realstic or fantasy) what would it be) We need another defensemen. We should try a pick or two for my buddy Benjamin Abenduct. 3. what is favorite article you read this week on the forum and why! It has to be the April Fool's joke about Josh stealing the money. That really got people talking! 4. What do you think is better Pasta or Pizza? Pizza, seriously....that is no contest. Who would want pasta over pizza? 5. What NHL team are you most excited for this playoff season? Tampa Bay Lightning. Our window while almost closed, is still open! Once last chance to get Stammer another Cup. Let's do this. 6. What is your plan for your Player's vhle career? I sadly am hoping this is my one and only season in the VHLE. I would love to hit the cap and head to the big leagues. It so far has been a very fun and unexpected season. I
  6. 1. We are hanging near the top of the conference despite being in the lower half of goal scoring. What do we need to do to score more? Put the puck in the net! Duh! Kidding of course. As the team continues to gel they will start getting the bounces and I would expect to see the scoring pick up. 2. Walter Fitzroy Jr is tied for the league lead in assists. Do you think he'll have a shot at the Beketov Trophy (Most Assists)? For sure, the offense has started slow so as the stats level out the offense should really get going. 3. How would you rate your start to the season? While I am only a prospect currently for the team and hope to join them next season. However, in the E it has been good start to the season I hope to build on. 4. Rookie goalie Toddly Bobbly has stepped right in and is 1-1 in his first two VHL starts. What do you think of his performance so far? Love to see it and as they keep updating they will only get better. Hope they will be the rock in the bet the team needs for many years. 5. Do you like the Team Awards? Is there an award you would like to see added/removed? I love the team awards and any of the awards. It helps some focus on a single goal. I believe it can help bring a team together. 6. What NHL playoff match up would you most like to see? Tampa Bay vs Florida. I want to continue to see this rivalry grow and see something besides the same old boring rivalries that have been going on for decades.
  7. Europe? As in Europa? One of Jupiter's 90 moons? Gul Dukat was confused at first. He thought Humans did not possess the technology as of yet to be able to travel to other planets. He clarified this with his former General Manager of Miami. The same General Manager that decided to abandon him and go to some weird place called Prague. The General Manager told Dukat that Europe was just another continent on the other side of Earth. Dukat was displeased as he had become accustomed to his lifestyle in America. He now has to go to Europe and a city called Rome, a place where they speak Italian. The only thing he knew about Italians was the Italian dressing he liked to put on his salad after every game. He decided it would be best to research this new temporary home. He knows he most likely would only be spending one season before moving up to the big leagues of the VHL and joining Toronto. He was excited to play for Toronto as he learned that is in Canada, and Canada is America's hat. For now, though, he is heading to Rome, where you can get some of the best Olive Oil the world has to offer and you can carbo-load off pasta before every game. He was also excited to eat real pizza instead of that fake pizza from New York or Chicago. After researching Italy and Rome more he became very excited as he learned they were a brutal people with a very rich history. Many empires have risen and fallen during the history of Rome. He was excited to take part and maybe even add a little of his own history. While playing for Miami may have ended on a sour note. He was ready to move forward and become an ever-better defender. He realized last season he took the Humans too lightly. He didn't play up to his expectations, something he will make sure to rectify this current season. Last season he finished with 18 Goals, and 47 Assists for a total of 67 Points. He was excited he was able to put up those offensive numbers but on the defensive side, he was severely disappointed. He finished 6th in the league in shot blocked with only 123. Far behind the mouse that entertains kids who had 159. He finished even worse when it came to hits and as he finished 7th with 163. He thought training in the art of hitting would have helped him but it was instead a complete waste of time. He was also disappointed that he finished as a -9 +/- but understands that is a team stat and he can't exactly control that. This season he plans to concentrate on blocking more shots, helping out the Goaltender. As far as hits are concerned, he will just move anyone out of his way. This season he has to prove to Rome, and even more so Toronto that their trust in him is warranted. Chi dorme non piglia pesci
  8. Gul Dukat had a very active off-season. After leaving Miami he was headed to Rome. This would be the first time he would leave the US. He was concerned with how people would react because he was a Cardassian. In Miami, they are all used to different kinds of people. In Rome, he wasn't sure how they would react. Europe was so different compared to the US. Maybe they are more accepting. He has heard that people seem to be more accepting but then when he saw anonymous polls they were just as bad if not worse than the US. He decided Miami would be the perfect place to get a "facelift". He would finally look Human so he wouldn't have to be concerned about being kept out of places because he looked so different. He wanted to stop standing out on the ice. He realized he was easily targeted because he was easy to spot. The only downfall after getting the facelift was they made him look like an old man. While he was disappointed about that he knew maybe next offseason he could get another facelift with a youthful look. Without the 24th-century technology, he was stuck with these barbaric practices.
  9. 1. What trophy do you think is missing from the VHL Awards? I honestly have no clue what awards are in VHL. However, maybe we could go with something out of the ordinary. Best secondary skill that doesn’t deal with hockey? Do they give awards for best updater too? 2. Which team will win World Cup gold? I have no clue what the World Cup is? Is this like the WBC? If so my vote is and will always be for me new home country of the United States. Why? Because why not? 3. How would you design a Legion third jersey? The logo really reminds me of the Romulons. I think we should play off that and go with that nice dark green. These uniforms could be very imposing. 4. If you could change the overtime/shootout format, what would you do? Keep the way it is just like regulation. The players get paid millions to play they can deal with it. If the fans don’t like how long it is then go home or stop watching. These games aren’t life and death. If you stop enjoying it go do something else. 5. What is your least favorite part of off-season training? No games. It gets boring when nothing to set your goals on. You only need so much rest, let’s not drags things out and get going! 6. What book/movie have you read/watched recently that you would recommend to your teammates? The only books and movies I read/watch are kids movies now with my toddler. The only thing I can suggest is the new Paw Patrol movie that just came out. It was a barking good time though.

  11. Here I am participating in the World Juniors for the very first time. I am ready to show everyone how great of a defencemen I am. I get drafted by the Steel along with my buddy Abenduct and a bunch of other superstars. We start off killing it only suffering one regulation loss in the first two+ weeks of games. The goalies are stopping shots, the forwards are scoring, the defense is stopping shots and I am pounding in skulls. It was wonderful and all the Steel fans were loving it. The league had different plans, however. They didn't like that their favorite wasn't playing up to snuff. Who is their favorite? Well, I am not exactly sure but I can tell you it isn't us. After a ref was caught getting paid off they decided to restart the whole tournament. Can you believe that? Restart the whole darn thing! They should have brought it new refs and kept the tournament going, instead, they hate that we are just too good and had to take us down. They brought in these new refs that just don't like us. They are calling out bogus penalties like high-sticking and slashing. Is it my fault that these players can't a little heat? Next time I just will have to give them a reason to call spearing. Anyways, I don't know how the ref got caught and screwed our team over like that. Maybe the league has cameras set up to spy on all the refs. It might be possible he told another ref and they snitched on them. I think a fan may have overheard the conversation. I wonder if he got caught with those bags of money. Either way, I told the ref exactly what to do, he must have failed to follow my instructions. I must deal with him before word gets out and back to me. I will not tolerate such failure. ---Computer, End Personal Log--- You know what, let's start over. ---Computer, delete this last entry---
  12. Congrats!! The best person for the job
  13. So here we are at the end of the season. I, Gul Dukat, have shown the league how great of a hockey player I am, the best I have heard. I am not so sure about that, however. I would prefer the greatest of my class if anything. The stats don't show it, the league has it out against me. I am unsure why so many weak penalties are called against me. It is as if the snowflakes can't handle my presence on the ice, so they cry to the refs? I know you have other defense people(I heard the term defenceman is not appropriate in today's times) like Lucy Leitner and Benjamin Abenduct in the league that a lot of people consider to be the best. However, I have something that they don't have. Fewer penalty minutes. Yes! That is right, I ended the season with 72 PIM. Leitner had 76 and Abenduct had 78. So while they are in the penalty box I am actually out on the ice imposing my will on the opposition. I trust you, the General Managers will remember that when it comes to draft time. I don't want to add you to my list! This list is a great list, the best list ever made! But it's not a list you want to be a part of!
