  1. Review: The part of this image that fuels nightmares the least is Gul Dukat. The image has a great blend of colors to really jump out at you and be spooky at same time. The player to left of Gul has the ghost like appearance with the eyes and mouth. Stuff like this always amazes me at how to put it all together. MSouthworth always puts in a lot of time into his graphics, and it really shows. I do feel that the text for record could of possibly been a little more spooky, but overall great work. Rating: 8.5/10
  2. 1) We have been selfish with the puck, I feel we need to work on our teamwork, 2) The positive is we got full lines, the negative I feel it will hurt with certain lines on ice. But we win as a team, and we lose as a team. 3) There is a great pulled pork place right near the arena the team trains at. I may like pulled pork too much. 4) I feel the Philadelphia Reapers could cause us trouble, but in the playoffs any team is deadly. 5) For me it’s Pulled Pork Thursdays, I always try to grab a pulled pork sandwich with some tater tots every Thursday. 6) I will give you a headache, I am good at giving people those.
  3. MSouthworth did recruit me for VHL
  4. 1) The team is doing awesome. Lots of great teamwork showing up on all sides of the puck. 2) I made a graphic for it with some player images, I spent a bunch of time on it but I don’t know if it will be good enough. 3) A season pass for TPE like SBA does it. Make it just worth the PT or even maybe PT+2 so you still have to work towards getting the final TPE if you want to cap each week. 4) I make sure to get a good nap in the afternoon to be ready for the sims around 7:00 PM EST 5) I would choose team awards because there’s no I in team. You win as a team, and you lose as a team. 6) I competed at a combat robotics competition in CT on January 20th. My entry with a friend won the 3LB division for the event out of 96 entries.
  5. I really stink at graphics spent an hour on this so lets hope.
  6. Posting as i came in after christmas
  7. 1) The team is playing awesome hockey. Lots of good teamwork and everyone is contributing. 2) I feel we will be ranked 3rd after this week, I feel we will continue to go like 3 wins every 5 at least. 3) I’ve been watching some racing, and going bowling with Nathan Ecker. 4) I feel we need to put best team on ice at all times, but we also need to work together to support everyone. 5) I feel both could break 80 points for season. One may get close to the 90 but who knows 6) I hope to have near 200 TPE by playoffs, my plan is to go a solid defender.
  8. Bulls roster was a learning experience got a little better so heres my vhl.com for this week
  9. Updating one more time
  10. I updated the logo to add flags
  11. 1) I believe the record does not reflect the rest of the season. We added on some good defenders, and I feel we can get the team rolling. 2) Abenduct has done better than expected. I am excited for how he will perform the rest of season. 3) I feel we should take a rock drill vehicle. They wouldn’t be able to see us cross. 4) Absorb as much as you can from AJ. Congrats and good luck, we all got your back. 5) I feel Artav will lead the team in goals with 52. Reynolds Jr is more of a two-way player so I feel he will end with like 43 goals. I feel my player will end up with 5. I already have 2 so everything else is gravy. 6) The first thing I would do as GM is hire you back. All kidding aside, I would just keep the team spirits up and just have a good time. We have a great clubhouse.
  12. Benjamin Abenduct was born February 6th 2008 to parents Robert and Hannah in the little town of Oshgosh in a small area of southern Ontario. He was at his hockey game less than a month after birth. Both his parents loved the game and wanted to share their love with their son. His mother gave him a blankie at a young age that he brought to every game they went to see. When Benjamin started to play it came with him to every game as a good luck charm. When he was 6, legendary hockey player coach Ban Ludwig noticed Benjamin and wanted to train him. Benjamin was in bliss getting to train under a legendary coach and improve his game. His parents alternated coming to all his practices to just be there in support of their son, plus they both went to all his games when they could. He took a liking to defense because he felt it helped more. He was not really good at it to begin but he practiced day in and day out to get better. His coach put him in contact with the manager of the traveling hockey team, the Hokey Pokey Lions, Boogers Mcgee. He started at age 12 and traveled all over while being home schooled. He didn’t fair to well his first season, but hard work and practice evolved him into the player he is today. School wise, his parents pulled him out of school after 2nd grade to be homeschooled so he could focus on his hockey game. They made sure he still kept in touch with his friends he made to build social skills. Benjamin excelled in math based classes but struggled in anything that required writing. He put in the hard work on and off the ice and managed to graduate high school at 16 with a 3.85 GPA. He plans to try and take some college courses if he gets drafted to further his education. He wants to get into traffic engineering as a backup plan. He fell in love with just trying to understand the traffic light patterns at intersections. Hobby wise, Benjamin loves to bowl, compete in combat robotics as well as enjoys watching all kinds of racing. At age 13 he became the first person to win a golden dumpster at an event in Toronto, with a non-kinetic energy robot. When time allows, he still fine tunes that robot and competes when he can. His goal is when he makes it to the VHL he wants to give back and sponsor some tournaments to help the youth get involved in STEM. Racing wise, his dad brought him to an F1 Race in Montreal when they were down their for a hockey game the week prior. It became Benjamin’s second love. He loved watching F1, Indycar, Nascar, IMSA, and Monster Trucks. It was hard to watch stuff live because of all the hockey training, but when he had some free time, he always would try to catch highlights or watch race replays online. Bowling wise he averages about 164, he tries to go when time allows it but with all his hobbies plus hockey it’s hard. He doesn’t get to see his teammates at league a bunch because he has to prebowl, but when he does they always have a blast. What he enjoys about all of his hobbies is the fact that its all different groups. Just seeing the social aspect of all the groups is a true learning experience, that he wants to put towards growing himself and others. A funny thing about his racing hobby is that one of the kids he met through travel hockey, Nathan Ecker, also has a love for racing. So anytime they saw each other they would make time to chit chat about what was going on in the world of racing His favorite food, as his nick name shows, is pulled pork. He loves bacon as well, but no wear near as much as pulled pork. After travel games, He would actually try to get the coach to go to a local bbq place if there were any near the travel game arena to get a taste of it. He actually saved up to get a smoker at his house. He brings pulled pork to team training once a week, so they can enjoy what he loves. Fun fact about Benjamin is the bond between that he built with Nathan Ecker over racing and was one of the main reasons that he signed with the Houston Bulls. He wanted to continue the friendship that they had plus anytime he could talk about racing was a plus. He just had to make sure to get to training in time was always an issue Benjamin had, needed one more minute before they left house.
  13. Benjamin Abenduct was signed by the Houston Bulls on January 12th 2024. He is excited to help the Bulls out in any way that he can. He is super nervous but it’s his time to show he can make it. Here are some of his strengths and weaknesses, plus expectations for the upcoming season. Strengths - Good defender able to see how plays are developing and stop the attacks. - Will be able to get to puck quickly and clear it back to the forwards safely. - Has decent stick ability to make sure he doesn’t lose puck to opposing offense. - Good size at 6'1" 225lbs making him able to take and give contact when needed. - A great team player. Learned from an early age that there’s no I in team. - Always gives it his all no matter if the team is winning or losing. -Loves the game, winning is just the cherry on top. Very appreciative of being able to play at this level. -Usually, first one to rink and last one to leave, a true player of the game. Weaknesses - Not a shooter at all, will struggle to score goals if any but not his forte. - Stickler for details, needs to learn to work with what he has. - Very Black and white when it comes to what needs to be done. - Sometimes is late to team meetings due to watching his other passion, racing. Apologizes for it but he needs to learn to be on time. - Can be clumsy at times but is working on it. - Very gullible, cannot sense sarcasm at all. Gets joked with a bunch. - Loves bacon and pulled pork, which causes weight issues at times, but you can’t deny the yumminess of bacon or pulled pork. Expectations for the upcoming season - Help the team make the playoffs this season. - Soak up everything from his teammates and coaches to become a better player - Hoping to score at least one goal, if he scores two, he won’t know what to do with himself. - Grow the clubhouse to a place where everyone feels included no matter what. - Get the team to all try his hometown bacon and/or pulled pork at least once, it is so good. - Make his family, friends, and home town proud of him. Wants to put them on the map.
