Jaxx says goodbye to Lafontaine and Spyro

With both Lafontaine and Spyro having played their finale games in the VHL in the playoffs, it is time for finale goodbyes. The Calgary Wranglers went out in the play in round, falling to the Seattle Bears 3 to 1. Hextall was welcomed up in the press box to watch the final games from his long time rival and after the final game he joined the locker room to congratulate Lafontaine on a great career, giving him a goodbye hug and well wishes for his future, hopefully in the NHL.

 

As for Spyro his Vancouver Wolves would make it to the semi-finals but would be swept by the Chicago Phoenix who would go on to win it all. Both Jaxx and Lafontaine were welcomed to the press box for every game, the end for Spyro was more painful Hextall said, seeing as they were close to getting into the finals, Hextall and Lafontaine joined the Wolves in the locker room to congratulate him. It was tough Hextall said, to be saying goodbye to both of his rivals in such a close time span, the finale season of his career won't be the same.

 

I know we've gone over this a lot but this is one final goodbye to your two last players @DarkSpyro @SlapshotDragon wish you guys the best with your next players and maybe some future rivalries?
