Jannik Nylen goes -1 in a game where his team scores 11 goals, a breakdown.

 Alright folks, you ever seen something sadder than the Buffalo Sabres? Because now I have. Jannik Nylen, bottom 6 defenseman for the Las Vegas Aces. Averages around 15 minutes a night, not bad. However, this guy managed to pull off something that I frankly find impressively bad. 

 

 The guy went -1 on a night where his team scored 11 goals against Yukon. 

 

 *cue laugh track*

 

 This kid managed to be on the ice for 3 goals, though didn't get any points. Doesn't help anything when you're also on the ice for every single one of the other team's goals. No wonder this guy only played 11 minutes, what kind of defenseman that is trying to stay in the league does that? Kid didn't earn his time, and he got shit on for it. 

 

Goal against number 1: Guy somehow, during his minute and a half of ice time on the power play, made a horrible giveaway to the other team and gave a 3-on-1.

 

Goal against number 2: This one I can't blame him much for, but it was a tough one. Simple slapshot from the point goes in off Nylen's shoulder. Guy obviously looked like he was disappointed in himself. Some would say that he should be.

 

Goal against number 3: Another one where I can't really blame Nylen, just an unfortunate penalty kill. Can't stop them all. Bad rebound led to a goal for Yukon. 

 

Goal against number 4: Nylen is back on a 2-on-1, can't block the pass and Brighton Gisby roofs it. 

 

And all this happened in the first two periods. Needless to say that he got BENCHED in the third. Kid got shit on, hard.
