TGIF! The weekend is here but I'm on day off #2 already of 4. Yesterday I spent the day getting my covid vaccine and fishing and let me tell you, both we're a good time. The needle was pretty spectacular. Injection person told me to take a deep breath and bam, with pretty good force he stuck my with that sweet vaccine nectar and within 2 seconds tops it was over. Then I spent the rest of the day relaxing. I think the vaccine made me a little bit tired today, arm is a bit sore and I had a little headache earlier. I've had a couple twisted teas and it's made everything better (still tired and the arm lmao). Today I did a bunch of running around for the 2 weeks of groceries and then went to the store to grab a bunch of flowers for the backyard with the girlfriend to help the bees and the world out. I finally transplanted my vegetables I had indoors to outside and it's actually pretty bad ass this season. Each year I get better and better and this year, I've really gone after it. I've successfully brought into my backyard some Kale (have every year), Tomatoes (have every year), Peppers (new), Cucamelon (110% new.. I seen the seeds thinking it was like a watermelon and NOPE! lmao.. but it's sprouted etc), Pumpkin plant (110% new and super excited), carrots I got sprouting in the one box (every year), Peas (every year) and am gonna go tomorrow to a local greenhouse to support during these tough times and see if there's another couple varieties I can add to the garden (flowers too!). Now onto the VHL blabbing, hey?

 

•  Off-season has hit and it's been a back and forth one with the Bears. Unfortunately seen @jRuutu have a team option used on him and he ended up signing in Prague. We wish him and @diamond_ace good luck this season. I think adding his physicality on the team is a good thing considering that's how that team plays. How well will they do? Not sure, but I'm hoping he at least has a good finale. It was kind of a weird shitty ending but I think overall it worked out for both. We love him and he knows that. Once a bear, always a bear.
• The league brought in a new cap system right after a lot of the big FA's signed. Was that on purpose because it seemed a bit dumb for timing but it is what it is. The inactive thing I'm not sure on but I see the purpose of it so we'll give it a whirl. I will give my trust that they know what they're doing and if it fails, I'll jump on that bandwagon too, lol... Now we get more cap so, of course, we chit chatting. Too bad, could of maybe grabbed another player too like Fong but again, the timing was spectacular.
• Bears added @BladeMaiden. She can be polarizing and whatever and yeah, we've had our past. We've gotten to a point, with a lot off work and behind the scenes talking, that we can be friendly, civil, respectful and talk randomly from time to time to see how life is going. Hell, we even spoke over voice last FA before she went to HSK. @Jubo approached us about her and let us know she was interested in us, gave us permission to speak to her which was confirmed she was into Seattle. Win/Win for everyone I believe. She's been an awesome addition, everyone has received her well and we're very excited for her to be part of the Bears present and future.
