Kisslinger II goes to Halifax!

Best things to see in Halifax in Canada if you're only in town for a few days - Mirror Online

And with the 28th pick in the draft, Halifax selects Zach Kisslinger II! This past VHLM draft, Zach Kisslinger II was ready to be drafted. He was so excited and did not have any idea where he was going to go. Kisslinger II was happy when at pick 28, Halifax called his name.

Kisslinger II will slot in nicely for Halifax, Halifax brings in a big bodied heavy offensively minded left wing that stands 6'8 and weighs 230 pounds. He will be a valid scoring option for the team and he will definitely intimidate players on the ice.  He plans on being a very important player on a cup ready team.

We asked Kisslinger II what this meant to him and he said, "it still feels pretty surreal, I am super happy I went to Halifax, they were one of the only ones who invited me to an interview and the gm and I got along super well. I am really happy to begin this journey with Halifax, I am super excited to get out there on the ice and meet my new teammates. I am super happy I get to stay in Canada and play hockey.  I have never been to the east coast so this should be a very exciting experience."

We asked Kisslinger II about his draft interview and he said, "It was a very nerve-racking experience, interviews are just a scary thing in life and these draft interviews really do matter because if you bomb an interview teams talk and the chance of success goes down. But that really was not the case when I got to the Halifax interview, the GM and AGM are top notch and made sure I knew they believed I am a special player and made sure to make the interview as comfortable as it could be. I think Halifax and I knew we had something special cooking up after that interview. I had a small feeling I was going to Halifax, but its the draft so nothing is for certain."

"The draft is something in this hockey world we have to experience at some point, it is way better to get the nerves and stuff out now so that when it comes to the VHL draft we will be ready for that. but for now, I am going to take this off season to train and better myself for my current team. I do not want to get too far ahead of myself and mess my head and focus up."

Kisslinger II said, " Being drafted means so much to me, I had a couple of pro stints in Europe and had my time in the OHL, but now I feel like I belong, I feel like everything is working out and my career just started. I cannot wait to get out on the ice and show Halifax what I am all about and to the teams that did not draft me that it was a big mistake ;). Just joking around, but I am serious about bringing my a game every night and putting pucks in the back of the net.

Very good text. It is very well written and easy to read. The questions you asked were relevant and the answers were very good. Overall, it is a very great article and see you in the VHLM this year. Good luck with Halifax.

Good luck in Halifax and nice use of picture. As that made me miss my old days actually living in Cole Harbour as kid and playing hockey in this city. Now I am a world away in Japan and haven't been back to the city since 2000's so some what twenty some odd years. Still have a lot of freinds in that area.

Life experience is a great standpoint and yes the difference between living in both countries is extremely different. I could spend all day comparing the two difference but the key difference is understanding that cultural difference can cause a lot of difficult situations even when you are unaware that you might be clashing with their culture as you are doing something that you consider the norm. Gives me an interest perspective of things that I have done in the past without thing that discriminated against others without thinking too much about it; simply since I didn't know any better or even that fact that I was being discriminatory.

It has wet my thrust for more knowledge, to actually travel more and learn more about other cultures around the world.
