Tagger 2,722
Just wanted to write about my contributions towards the Express for this 590 since I’ve just been traded from them. In truth, I’m happy to have been on the Express. The team was probably the only real one of the four that I’ve been on that gave me a proper welcome to the team, although I guess I’ll give Riga a bye considering that they didn’t have anyone on the team besides the GM to welcome my player. They actually got me for fairly cheap looking back on the trade that they made to get me. They traded a 400+TPE guy in his 7th season in order to get me and an S38 2nd rounder. That 2nd rounder ended up being a zero TPE guy, but I’ve now reached a similar level of TPE that the player who I was traded for earned in two seasons less. In turn, my activity has meant I’ve been able to help the Express get a first rounder in an upcoming draft, so I would like to say I have exceeded their expectations, which makes a nice change considering that I didn’t really live up to the billing, or the expenses that had been paid for me, from my first two teams. Devise 4,475
Your actually a lot better than people may think. Over 400 TPE for a S35 draftee isn't bad at all. If you continue at the pace your going, with still half a career left you could hit 600 or 700 TPE. Who knows how many damn PIM records you could have by that time! diamond_ace 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/10798-pleased-to-give-cologne-value/#findComment-103282 Share on other sites

Speaking of TPE though, is there a topic that shows how much carryover you take onto your next player? I had a look in rules and in the Create-A-Player threads but couldn't see anything. It's in the forum where people post their retirement threads. After so many years of questions I should put it in the rulebook. diamond_ace 3,112
What Devise said. You've knocked your player a lot, but you're actually pretty substantial, and honestly you're the piece I was most happy with getting in the trade. Sure, a lot of that is the fact that you've got farther to go before retiring, but you've earned TPE pretty well so far and you're not too far over the peak of the team. PIMs to Playoff MVP? Who knows... Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/10798-pleased-to-give-cologne-value/#findComment-103481 Share on other sites
