I like the blending and colouring, matching the bg with Americans colour scheme. The logo on the shoulder is a nice touch. The text fits well but it's too bad the player name is choppy. I've had this issue as well so I'll let you know if I find a way to tweak it back to smooth. Changing sharp > smooth > crisp and so on did nothing for me but it might work for you.
