Welcome back to another edition of Inside The Mind, a column written by Darsh Albesh that takes a deep dive into the VHLM and the home team, the Philadelphia Reapers. Today we talked to the new AGM of the Reapers @Masu Chan about his experience as an AGM so far and how his team, the Reapers, are doing.

With only 5 games left in the season and still 3 points back from the 5th place Halifax 21st, it is still up in the air whether or not they will finish the season 5th overall or 6th overall. After the departure of the former AGM of Philadelphia 3 weeks ago, Masu Chan was appointed interm AGM and has been assisting GM @Alex_J32with managing the team. When asked about his experience as an AGM so far, Masu Chan had this to say:

“I’ve been really enjoying it so far, the Philadelphia fans have been extremely welcoming. GM Alex J has been doing an excellent job teaching me how to be an efficient and productive AGM and the best ways to support him in managing the team. He takes care of most of the major task such as waiver pitches and other management tasks whereas we work together on things like line changes and scouting. I am so excited for the playoffs to start and to see how far we can go, hopefully all the way and win the championship.”

The Reapers have clinched a playoff spot and they are looking to go far with their deep roster. Soon after the champion is crowned, the draft starts and the Reapers have had a plan for the draft since the beginning. The draft is an important time for teams and players alike, the Reapers’ management will be looking to make some strong picks and keep their team in contention next season hopefully making it into the playoffs once again.

Join us next time on Inside The Mind where we will take one last deep dive into the VHLM before the playoffs start.
