Chikeen Nugett hasn't taken his foot off the pedal after the team he built snagged the championship from Yukon last season and when you look at the teams production this season it's clear everybody in the line up is playing a role. In a recent interview he had this to say.

"Shooters like Vomacka and Lajeunesse have continued to snipe shots past the leather, physical forwards like Snakehole and Nugget have been steadily winning puck battles for their more skilled linemates, playmakers like Laperriere and Vignac have been behind the play stopping odd man rushes while also making crisp passes to start their own, it's crazy how many options we have." Nugett thinks to himself and adds "We also have a group and two way builds like Torq, Buzzer and Clarke who have been gassing themselves out trying to do all they can, another huge help comes from our power play blue liners like Live and Hagstrom, shocking the crowd and continuously blasting nasty bombs from the point.. Even in net netminder like Nu and Wumbo shared the spotlight until our recent trade. Add in players like offensive dynamos Romain and Coiner as well as excellent depth defenders like Pearce and Dvorak thrown into the mix to cover any tired teammates. That's one thing I enjoy the most about our squad, nobody is coming close to our team effort as a whole." Nugett smiles and says "Watch out for the kids too, Leblanc, Zininger, Larsson and Carter are gonna be huge for us whenever the playoffs roll around."

In the first half of the season it was a scramble for every other team but the Lynx and the only thing we really needed to do to get ready was having the right strategies, at first it was hard selecting the players who would receive more minutes but they eventually found a way to get everybody into the action and now know how to adapt and get ready for future contests. If it's a checking line the team needs or a blizzard of shots to chase the goaltender, the managers will be holding their cards even closer and will be waiting for the right moves as they look to be fluttering between increasing individual efforts and prepping themselves even more for the competition that keeps getting tougher to hopefully overcome any errors made in the past while also sacrificing league leading positions and records in the process.
