Currently sitting among the top defenders is every major catergory. However he still seems to be flying under most peoples radar. For the quiet Russian thats a good thing. "It just means when i have success in the bigs people will regret missing me" Komarov stated in a media outlet after a four point night last night. However Komarov has stated he wants to play in the VHLM next year. He feels he still needs some time to adjust to the speed of this league. "My game has taken big strides from the start of the season, however i feel i need to become a stronger player still before i can compete against the best" Komarov stated. We will wait to see how this effects the young russians draft stock. He is currently projected to be a second round pick but in such a deep draft this could drop him to the 3rd round. Course he won't be in the third round, he is tearing up the charts and increasing his production each day it seems. And many good defenders this class. So all comes down to preferance i suppose.
