16 year old slap-shot specialist Adison Bond grew up in sunny Florida of all places and grew up playing Lacrosse and Hockey all his Life.  Although Hockey in Florida is rare as a sport to pick to play as a youngster Bond kept with it all because of a Coach that he had when he was younger.  That coach taught him life lessons while teaching Bond how to play Lacrosse.  For years the development of Lacrosse was taking off to new levels but Bond still had a void in his life that wasn't fulfilled.  For years Bond was told of how similar Lacrosse was to Hockey so one winter when the season was down Bond decided to try out Hockey. Lacing up the skates for the first time felt right for him. Bond joined the Youth Team for his local Professional team which was the Florida Panthers. While going out on the ice was new Bond seemed to have learned the ropes quickly, Bond became a fast skater and developing great skills with taking shots and passing. Because Bond was new to Hockey, new challenges emerged. For a long time Bond didn't understand the flow of the game but that changed when he attended a Florida Panthers game. Since Bond played for the Youth team he got to see all the behind the scenes of being a Pro. Seeing Professionals play the game unlocked a natural knowledge for Bond.  After Bond witnessed the level of play that Pros are at it only made Bond want to learn more about the game.

Bond took what he saw and developed controlling the game. Being a Center Bond had all the control in the game. Which is what set a flame to his passion for the game. Finally being in control was all that Bond was chasing.  His game grew out of hand for his level of play and soon realized that if Bond wanted to play in the next level he would have to find competition that was on his level or better.  Therefore, Bond signed up for the VHLM and was approached by many teams like The Las Vegas Aces, Ottawa Lynx, Miami Marauders, and more. But none of those teams interested him. Until the Mississauga Hounds came into the picture and Bond was hooked. Being apart of a team that was rebuilding was the perfect team for Bond. Bond would be able to be apart of the core team and make an impact out on the ice, while getting the experience of playing at one of the highest levels.  With that being said Bond is proud to be apart of the pack and will always be a Hound. #releasethehounds
