What is wrong with the Houston Bulls?

That is a question asked by the fans here in Houston.

Too many things have been going wrong for the Bulls since the so called, now infamous, Scotty's article @fromtheinside; with the Houston Bulls now on a league leading four game losing streak.

Now do you call the Bulls the worst team in the VHLM? Streaks happen to every team, only difference is good teams get out of losing streaks more quickly and stay in winning streaks longer.  Production from the Bull's top end players have been ongoing, abide slowed, during this current league long losing streak, so that can't be the problem, now could it? Then, Is it goaltending? 96 of 111 saves. Okay, maybe. It doesn't look great. But is it the defense is just too darn bad and giving the keeper no help?

You tell me! The Houston Bulls are the stingiest defensive team in the VHLM with a terrific 69 😉 Goals Against. All their players are Plus players. They're also the second most offensive team with 110 Goals For. So what's the problem then? What's wrong with the Houston Bulls?

Maybe there is nothing wrong with the Houston Bulls. They're just in a funk that every team goes through sometime during the season. Or, maybe it's the Special Teams.

Over the last four games, the four game losing streak, the Houston Bulls have scored 1, yes one, Power Play Goal on 19 attempts. And allowed 4 goals on 14 penalties. That is a 5.263% PP% and a 71.429% PK%.

That is not good at all! Their season average is 19.42% PP and 83.33% PK; a much more respectable %, but still not terrific. Maybe it really is the Special Teams. Only time will tell whether this is the case.

But one thing is for sure, Houston we have a problem.
