VHL Corruption: Was the Meta Released on Purpose by the BOG?

In recent weeks, the BOG has come and said they had the cure for the meta (also known as the metavirus by many), and that it would be roled out this off-season. The big fix for the meta? Hybrid attributes! These attributes are newly added only to the VHL to counter what is called the "meta build". Essentially instead of adding directly to scoring, passing etc. you add to these new attributes which will add a ratio to the actual STHS attributes. For example adding to offensive vision will add to scoring, but it will also add some passing. This will eliminate the adding of scoring, without some sort of passing being added to your player thus eliminating the 99/40 SC/PA build which seemingly was causing the meta due to an overload of shots by these teams. The league cheered as a solution has been in the works for quite some time now, and this will put an end to teams stacking players with these builds such as the Vancouver Wolves who are going for their third straight Continental Cup. Not to any blame of Nyko, who was simply building the team type which succeeds in the current sim environment.

 

But what if the same people who are rolling out this solution, are the same people who released the meta in the first place? What if the BOG instilled this into the league intentionally to stir up conflict, and made a few deals along the way? Then come swooping in to seem like they are playing the hero role. What would be their motivation for this? Well without a problem, the introduction of these new attributes may have caused some resistance and even dis-interest from the community. Now that these attributes are being looked at as a solution, they are welcomed with open arms. Could the likes of Beketov and Spartan made a deal and got Nyko involved to build this super team to help create this issue? Spartan's Moscow Menace have been in the final with these Wolves for the third straight season now, why would he do this? To finally be able to take down the meta and then his Menace would be able to raise the cup in the first "clean season" in quite some time. Seems all too good to be true, doesn't it? And why wouldn't Nyko agree to 3 championships in a row? It all just seems too convenient.

 

Did Enorama come in with his solution with good intentions, and was taken advantage of by the corrupt board? Or was he apart of the BOG's plot this whole time? BigAL's resignation and disappearance is also no coincidence. It is possible Al spoke out against this plan, and had to be "sent away" by the board who just simply could not have this getting in the way. Or it could be he could not live with himself if he was apart of this any further and had to step away. What about Beaviss, did they get to him too? Were the yams just being used as a distraction while the BOG made some big moves? It is hard to imagine he could turn to this, but I guess everyone has their price.  This is am awful lot to soak in, but this full proof method by the BOG has successfully now gotten everyone on board with the new hybrid rollout set to make an appearance around week 2 of this off-season. Not to say the hybrid attributes aren't a good idea in general but it is the possible corruption that reeks behind it that just cannot go unignored. How many more members of the board are involved in this, and have been working in the shadows?
