As you learn more on how to use photo editing software I'm sure it'll get better, but I can see the idea here. What to improve is obviously the logo swap, I'm not quite sure how to do it either and you basically did the same thing as I would do, just color over the original logo. Matching the colors on the jersey would be my next thing. Then after you do all that the logo behind him isn't really necessary imo because this is supposed to be an alternate jersey graphic and doesn't really have a purpose being there.
