Gooningitup 1,290 Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 The Storm will face the Red Wolves in the VHLM playoffs this season and most experts are calling it and easy win for the Wolves, however Komarov states that wont be the case. He feels confident that the team will push the Wolves in the first round. This is big talk from a team who lacks serious depth at defense. Komarov will need to step up his defensive game if the Storm are going to have any chance to really make an impact in the playoffs. He has shown to be a physical and shot blocking force so far this season but currently ranks among the bottom of the barrel in the plus minus. Most experts would suggest however that comes down to the fact he gets over used each and every night. He currently sits 2nd in ice time behind only defense partner Loyd Light. The two need some help next season if they have serious aspirations to win the cup next season.
