He left us high a dry and when Kovy left we have no offensive punch.

Yeah, I know. I just can't hate the guy though.

It's just like as a Canucks fan, I could care less about hating Kesler. He's still a great player and I wouldn't mind him winning a cup in Anaheim.

Fair enough. I don't hate either but I hope they don't win cups because of the type of tomfoolery they pulled on former teams.

I'll only cheer for Jim Dowd...because we know he is going to make a comeback soon.

I mean, Parise wanted to go home closer to his family and was a UFA. Although he was also captain. It still sort of bugs me when I think about him as a Devil, but no love lost.

Kesler, he left and said the Canucks core didn't have it anymore. That was after a horrible Tortorella season. While they did turn it around this past season and the Sedins showed they're not as aged as people thought, you could probably throw the failure against Calgary on defense. I don't know. Kesler could have still been right, but the dude has heart and wants a championship sooner rather than later.

Kovalchuk is a whole other situation. Sure, he wanted to go home to Russia...but he just barely signed a gigantic contract and then left.

Don't forget Kesler quit on his team, he even said that in an interview. Heart sure, but the drive I think he lacks from his character.

No no he signed the contract, I think you meant to say he barely let the ink set in before he bolted.

That's what I meant by just barely signed the contract. I didn't mean he didn't sign it...I meant he signed it and barely let it settle in, as you said. :P

Yeah, Kesler has quite an ego on him. He just has to play for a winning team or something. When he's losing he just doesn't push like he should.

I dunno why I looked at CDC but I did and someone is suggesting the Canucks lost because they all smoke weed before the games. His proof is that Matthias, Tanev, and Lack "looked stoned" during the end of season pressers.

That's a new one.

and where did I say my predictions were impressive ? I'm just posting mine to compare with other people choices and see how it went. Turn down the offensive for a second.

I wasn't bashing it haha. Usually when you post something like that you apply some dialogue too, otherwise posting it could be interpreted in so many ways. It looks pretty close to the results, but I didn't know we were discussing if or you were trying to tell us something? See.
