Halifax started the game with speed and score first with a goal after only 3 minutes by Otis Boudreaux. They got the lead for a little bit more than 10 minutes after San Diego score on the powerplay by Malum Maellard. San Diego got two more goals in the second period to take the lead. No goal in the third period so San Diego win! They double the shots of Halifax (41-19) even if they were on the penalty kill 8 times.
