Davos wanted to come out and take control of the game and that's exactly what they did. The scoring started early and often with Davos netting three goals in the first period, thanks to one from Vinny Detroit and a pair from Pete Mitchell. After the hot start, all Riga could do was try and make it look a little closer for the box score as they didn't pose a significant threat the rest of the game. They scored a second period goal, but weren't able to muster any offense after that, losing 3-1 to Davos. The scoring got started with Calgary in the first period as they scored two goals to jump out to a quick 2-0 lead. Tried as they might, Seattle couldn't respond and actually fell further behind in the second period thanks to a Calgary goal. Entering the final period, the score was 3-0 Calgary, but Seattle wouldn't give up. They scored back to back goals in the third period, cutting the deficit to 3-2, but their comeback hopes were dashed when Calgary responded with a pair of goals themselves, cementing the 5-2 victory for the Wranglers.
