KRZY 416
This week I’m kinda struggling to come up with a media spot idea so I’m going to attempt to take a crack at some VHLE power rankings. Let’s get it going here ! 1. Cologne Express @leandrofg is picking up right where he left off last season . The Express are hot right now winning 5 games in a row . They are tied for the most goals for as a team and fourth in the league in goals against. That being said they also hold the second highest goal differential in the league with 35 . The Express are once again a powerhouse this season and look like the could once again challenge for the Renaissance Cup 2. Oslo Storm the back to back cup champs are a defensive juggernaut this season , leading the league in lowest goals against and highest goal differential at 48 . All while tying the express in goals for at 99 . I could’ve easily swapped the storm and express in these rankings as both teams are on my opinion in a league of their own this season. Oslo is definitely a cup contender once again this season look for them to go deep again this year . @JB123has done a nice job keeping the storm a competitive and dominant team the past few years 3. Vasteras Iron Eagles New GM @Lemorse7has done well in Vasteras this season keeping them relevant the eagles currently have the top 2 scorers in the league and are a hard team to play against . Vasteras will definitely make the playoffs in my opinion they could also play spoiler to another teams Renaissance cup ambitions. 4. Stockholm Vikings Honestly I thought Stockholm was going to be a lot higher on this list as they were the team I picked to compete with Oslo and Cologne for the top team in the league this season @MubbleFubbleshas assembled an outstanding roster and the talent and potential is there for this team to really take off and takeover the top spot in the league . If they can put together a run look out the Vikings are dangerous and they are my pick right now for the final playoff spot as it stands right now . 5. Geneva Rush Geneva is your stereotypical middle of the pack team @MexicanCow123has assembled a young team with a lot of potential. I just don’t see them keeping up with the pace the other teams in the top 4 have set . I see some separation between the prior 4 teams and Geneva being made in the coming weeks . 6. Istanbul Red Wolves Struggled early as a result of the shortage of goaltenders this season in the VHLE . Since they acquired a starting goalie they’ve started to slowly right the ship and gain some ground in the standings. @Daniel Janser has had some success in past seasons and if there’s anyone that can turn the Red wolves season around you’ve gotta believe it’s him ! 7. Bratislava Watchmen The watchmen are more or less in a full rebuild and are looking to acquire draft picks to put them in a position to be competitive in seasons to come . @UnknownMinion definitely has his work cut out for him if he wants to make Bratislava a contender once again . 8. Rome Gladiators @Baby Boomer and the Gladiators are also in a rebuild right now . They are also falling victim to the goaltending crisis this year . One positive for this team is they currently have 14 draft picks in the next 2 seasons . there you have it there’s my first kick at power rankings this season . These are all just based on my opinions. Feel free to give me some feedback on how I did . JB123, Lemorse7, Baby Boomer and 1 other 2 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/132990-krzy%E2%80%99s-vhle-power-rankings/ Share on other sites
