Gaikoku-hito 2,081
While winning the regular season championship is usually a kiss of death in professional sports it should still be a feat that Vancouver Wolves take the time and at least acknowledge as it was a team commitment to success this season that lead to this championship. Starting for the tenders out with Brandt Fuhr @Tate and Jeremy Swayman @Agito combining for a 49 win season with the lowest goals against in the league leading to the forwards having confidence in taking a bit more risk lead by Nezuko @Baozi, and Preobrazhensky @Bulduray_1 with breakout season for Eagles @Greg_Di, Puk @Otaznik and Maple @dogwoodmaple. A great rookie season from Kerr @VattghernCZ. Six players reached a point per game pace this season. Last but not least is the defenders. Lead by Captain Pierre Emile Bouchard @Gaikoku-hito; who set career highs in almost all stats this season. MacElory @Xflexz holding down the back end with 52pts and impressive 161 shots blocked and then Rookie Jens Lekman @Bobcatbeing a beast on the backend with 122 hits and 113 shots blocked himself. New acquired Tater Tottingham @Trunkxolotl with 33 shots blocked in 15 games; will have more of a chance to prove himself during the play-off but has fit in nicely on the back end. And Last @Frank for bring all these players together and having them believe. All of this lead to a great season and the Victory Cup for the Vancouver Wolves. Congrats to all of you on a successful regular season!!
