The Royals lost the first game in penalty shots as 60 minutes plus an extra 5 couldn't solve anything. The Royals were up 2-1 in the first until the Lynx two in quick succession in the final minute of the period to put them up 3-2. The second period had each team exchange goals and the Lynx remained in the lead 4-3 heading into the third. Jody 3 Moons was the only one to score in the 3rd and he did so early on the power play. As mentioned, overtime didn't solve anything and in the shootout Lynx scored twice and only Jody Moons managed to score for Bern as the Lynx took the win. In the rematch things went much the same way as 5 goals happened in the first. Royals came out ahead 3-2 after 20 minutes. The second period went the same as the first game as each team traded a goal a side. The third period had both teams trade 2 goals as each team scored on the power play once and the Royals held on to their lead 6-5 and won in regulation. 200 words exactly.
