The start of the season hasn't been all rainbow and sunshine for the Wolves. After a meh 1-1-1 first sim and a promising win over D.C. the next sim, they're now on a 3-game losing streak and ranked second last in the NA Division.

A step back in offensive output was expected after some of last season's top scorers departure, while the biggest piece coming back was a dynamic defense-first star defenseman Ryuji Sakamoto to help drive possession and transition game. Here in The Hockey Pack, we don't like smashing the panic button this early. This is a young team that's a result of a remarkable retool on the fly. The rookies and second year players are figuring out their roles and the completely revamped roster is just starting to build chemisty.

However, some disgruntled fans still upset about last season's heartbreaking elimination by the Bears see things in a different way, and they let themselves be heard. So much in fact, they got #fireChadwick trending on Twitter.

"Frank Chadwick turning a championship franchise into a draft lottery team in a year. #fireChadwick" -Jett H.

"The worst offseason in franchise history! What a joke! #fireChadwick" -Reid L.

"lolllll I just had a dream that Wolves got eliminated by Bears, VAN GM traded away every forward and brought in a Seattle D-man. Oh wait. #fireChadwick" -Cohen G.

These are some of the more family-friendly tweets by angry fans. To thise fans, we say: trust the process, doomers. The Wolves arr in a great position to be back on top not later than next season, even if this year actually ends up being underwhelming.
