Moderator MubbleFubbles 1,289 Posted May 22, 2023 Moderator Share Posted May 22, 2023 The Chicago Phoenix look set to lose their highest paid player The Board Game Clue On Skates in this upcoming off-season due to talks between the two sides reaching an impasse. The specific problem is related to The Board Game Clue On Skates current contract with the Phoenix including a Mutual Option for the coming season, which requires both the GM and the player to agree that the player will stay with the team, otherwise they will enter Free Agency. While Chicago seemed keen to bring back The Board Game Clue On Skates for Season 89, The Board Game Clue On Skates has yet to agree to terms as it is a board game and not even being attached to a pair of ice skates can give it the capabilities to respond to human dialogue. What exactly this means for the future of The Board Game Clue On Skates in the VHL is unclear, especially since it will have to sign with someone to continue its VHL career and that is beyond its current capabilities, but it is becoming more clear that its future lies away from Chicago.
