Talk about a one-sided game, Calgary took a whopping 5 minor penalties in the first period, but they miraculously survived them all, but Kourou gave D.C. a 1-0 lead when 14:24 was played. The battle of the first period started all over again in the second period, Calgary sat on the bench multiple times, the penalty killers were exhausted and this time around D.C scored twice on the man advantage. After two periods the game was 5-0 for D.C. In the third period, Calgary took only two minor penalties, but they were not able to score any goals, the game ended 5-0 for D.C. The penalty trouble cost Calgary the game.
