Boomcheck 161
This draft has me really hyped because the first round is solid and filled with players that could all be productive with even the early second round picks holding the same value as a first round pick. The VHL Draft Lottery happened earlier this week and the Seattle Bears will be selecting first overall, followed by the Stockholm Vikings who will be making their first ever draft selection since being relocated from Vasteras. At third will be the Davos HC Dynamo, a team that blew up their entire roster for a complete rebuild. Stockholm rounded out the lottery and will also be selecting 4th overall. Who will be taken at these picks? It looks to be all but confirmed that Niklaus Mikaelson will be heading to Seattle at first overall. I am certain that many teams would love to have a franchise goaltender like him locked up. At second, I believe it will be Kowalski. There is a pretty big gap between Jack and the rest of the skaters so this will probably be a no-brainer. Now this is where it gets difficult. What will Davos go with? I believe they will pick a center and it will be Gifford Shock. Will the Shockening take place in Davos? Rift Pajodcast has shown strong signs of not playing for the Stockholm Vikings so they will skip him and probably go for a forward to center Tyrone Williams and they will already have a strong defense with Karnage bound to be up in a season. AIM-11 will likely take 4th overall. I might do an actual indepth mock closer to the draft. boubabi

Kesler 1,514
Ruutu forgotten? Ruutu is a defensemen isnt he? It would make sense why he falls out of the top four unless he goes to Davos.

Boomcheck 161
I dont see Ruutu falling out of top 4 Haters sippin Will Davos take him? I see no reason why Stockholm will take him. I mean, it's still possible. Kowalski is the best defenseman available. They have Mathews coming up and then they will have Karnage. It could make sense if he falls out of the top-4. Kowalski-Karnage-Ruutu would be great. They could dump off Matthews for maybe a 3rd round pick and grab something else.
