Celebrate Ice Hockey GIF by NHL

I am somehow maintaining my extreme activity by writing this. I have a feeling, it's just been a fun time for me to be back in the league so in a weird way, this is a pleasure to write. As you guys know, my current player Yermolai Nabakov, is in the VHLM so I'll be focusing on the VHLM all-stars this season. I hate to say it but the VHLE seems boring as I see 0 coverage for them. However, that's just an observation and maybe I'm just entirely wrong. Anyways, we should probably get to it right?

VHLM All-Star First Team

:ssk: Left Wing - Forum Content @frescoelmo

29G/52A/81P +16

Forum Content has been blazing heat this season in Saskatoon and it's no surprise he would be. The frescoelmo agency has always popped out certified bangers of players and Forum Content is nothing short but that. He's been leading the points total all season long until just recently but it would be a surprise to nobody if he stepped into another gear and jumped into another level. We're excited to see where Forum Content can go in the draft as well as he's such an impressive prospect and we expect him to be the in the top 5 picks.

:hfx: Center - Antonia Bucatini @CowboyinAmerica

29G/30A/59P  -22

Antonia Bucatini could be one of the most impressive players in the VHLM and the statistics aren't even supporting her. Antonia is another lottery pick in the upcoming VHL draft, in my opinion. Coming out of the CowboyinAmerica agency who also has been a well known commodity in the space, we can expect Antonia to explode when it comes time to head to the VHL/E. She's built to be a perennial top line center and is already somewhat showing it in the VHLM. She really can do almost everything possible. She already leads the league in face-offs won as well, which is a huge + for any team in the VHL.

:phi: Right Wing - Yermolai Nabokov @fonziGG

37G/46A/83P +28

The surprise of the season, honestly. Nobody expected a player out of fonziGG's agency to really come out of the gates in the VHLM and strong arm. Actually, to be fair, their players tend to flop in the VHL but never the VHLM or VHLE. However, after seeing how Yermolai has been playing, we might see a useful player in there. They're big at 6'8" and extremely strong. Yermolai has been the engine of the Philadelphia Reapers this season and has even heard the coaching staff say he has captaincy material at higher levels. He wants to win and has been pushing his teammates to lead the way as well which is an intangible prospects don't usually have. Due to the agency of this player, we could see him drop out of the top 5. In fact, we could also see him drop out of the first round.

:veg: Defenseman - Bric Sheithaus @Oldhead91

14G/58A/72P +19

Bric Sheithaus is from a newer agency in Oldhead91. What is most exciting about him is his ability to get down and block shots, leads the league in hits and is an intangible as a player. While they have been drafted to the VHL (Riiga) 3 seasons ago, it's no surprise he's been an all-star that has been included in this list. We hope to see more out of Bric and would love to see him at the VHL level.

:phi: Defenseman - Enn Jinn @jhatty8

19G/52A/71P 78 Hits

Lets just say, bro is cooking for a defender. 68 points is no feat and from the jhatty8 agency, we can expect only a great role player for the VHL. While they need some support, that doesn't mean that they won't turn out. I have tons of faith in this agency to get all cylinders firing and will be a huge contributor in the VHL pretty soon. 78 hits is also a great contribution on the defensive side. Lets hype out Enn Jinn cause he's going to be a legend.

:phi: Starting Goalie - Jorgen Lovstrom @Pifferfish

.920 SV% || 2.31 GAA || 35W/4L/3 OTL

Lovestrom has to be the best goalie in the VHL at the moment. There is a reason Philadelphia is leading the league and while Nabokov and Enn Jinn are huge parts of that, I'd argue Lovstrom is the largest piece to the pie. Lovstrom is 1st in SV% and GAA with goalies who has played more than 20 games and is tied for 1st with SO's with 2. What makes it impressive is that he's faced the 5th most shots. Also he's got 5 assists so you know he's a certified banger of a pick for any team looking for a goalie for this statistic alone.

Thats my all star team currently. I know there's barely any Las Vegas Aces representation but I find that their most impressive player has to be Bric Shithaus and unfortunately I don't think their top players beat out players like Bucatini, Nabokov and Content. Maybe Hugo Boss? But he doesn't beat out Lovstrom either. I'm sorry but yeah LVA isn't so impressive and if there's a huge influx of recruits soon, we could see them shedding some IA bums for players who are earning heavy TPE (considering the VHLM is about development not winning right guys?)

Last but not least, I just want to say thank you to the community. A lot of you have been supportive of me coming back knowing I'll probably drop off into IA world again soon. Ya'll have been cool, especially the Philly family which gives a huge shoutout to @Lemorse7 as a GM. Can't wait to see what we do at TDL and I hope it's something BIG. Huge. Massive. All of the above. I want to see Philly go deep this season, mainly because I've never done well in the VHLM as a player (unless I'm misremembering so my bad). I'd like to notch a win title win which I think we have a surprising amount of availability to do this season. Ultimately, this is a developmental league so, lets all develop and I can't wait to see us kick off in the VHL together.
