It is official, after a hard fought series with the Helsinki Titans, the Riga Reign plowed their way through the Cologne Express in a quick four games, outshooting and outscoring them by a large Marge margin. They now await the victor of the series between New York and Calgary, to be decided soon. In all likelihood, they will be facing the New York Americans, who have a 3-1 lead over Calgary and are the reigning champions of the VHL. The re-tooled Reign have finally gotten over the conference finals hump that plagued them in the past. No more are the Andy Reid in Philadelphia-esque days, the Reign are now contending for real. This could be their only real shot, as they made need to enter a rebuild soon with Jarkko Olsen and Niklas Lindberg, two trade deadline additions, retiring in the coming offseason. Will the added firepower and the momentum from their strong outing against Cologne be enough to propel them to a finals victory? Only time will tell!

Wait, are you saying that Victor is a double entendre for clutch... and that the BoG decide who gets clutch?
