While his regular season numbers were modest at best, and his playoff output wasn't anything to write home about, Shock still finished the season with the Founder's Cup. The Founder's Cup is arguably the most difficult of the triple gold awards to win, as most great players get a maximum of two chances of winning it. For Shock, it was do or die, as he has now eclipsed the VHLM TPE cap and must play in the big leagues next year. Next up, Shock is turning his eyes towards the World Cup. He is filling out the bottom of a deep Canadian contingent. If he's able to help bring a cup back to his homeland, Shock will have two of the three components of the triple gold club before even stepping onto VHL ice (knock on wood). Yep.
