RECAP:

The Saskatoon Wild Dominate The Mississauga Hounds in Lopsided Affair

 

The Saskatoon Wild delivered a resounding 4-1 victory over the Mississauga Hounds, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive solidity. Jacob Longstreet led the charge with two goals and an assist, while Drosmis Sarkanis and Micah Cederbaum also found the back of the net. Austin Goulet lll played well in goal, making 23 saves to secure the win.

 

The Wild's potent power play and stifling penalty kill were on full display, with the team capitalizing on 25% of their opportunities and shutting down all five of the Hounds' attempts at a 100% rate. Saskatoon's dominance was evident in their shot count, outshooting Mississauga 38-24.

 

Donald Carlson's third-period goal was the lone bright spot for the Hounds, who struggled to find momentum. Chazz Michael Michaels made 34 saves in a valiant effort, but ultimately it wasn't enough. 

 

The three stars of the game were Jacob Longstreet, Drosmis Sarkanis, and Austin Goulet lll, all from the victorious Saskatoon Wild.
